NuguMy thoughts exactly! All of them basically living together during their formative years really helped build that bond and make them more comfortable with exploring their sexualities in peace. And then, the ones who are straight probably became more accepting of queer people, maybe even allies.Seventeen are sort of infamous for being similar to each other? Their MBTIs were spread out over only 4(? or some other bizarrely small number don't remember) types when they first took the test which is kind of statistically ridiculous. Part of it is that they all started to train together when they were very young and spent so much time together. I do think that the fact that they are all so in tune and similar to each other is part of why they've stuck together so long pretty much flawlessly despite being a massive group and it's part of their main appeal for sure. The predebut members who left seemed to not be gelling with the group as much socially, so there was already some natural selection when it came to group cohesion.
I think there are definitely people who stay closeted for their entire lives, live in denial or even somewhat oblivious to the fact that they may be queer (although that last one seems more common with women). I don't think it's crazy to think that the sort of bond that svt had with each other during formative years may have led some of them to be more comfortable exploring their sexuality earlier than they may have if they hadn't been put in that situation. Coups has always been the hyung of the team and he wrote that (possibly) bisexual lyric in Just For Fun before he ever debuted. Having an older male role model like that could definitely inspire something in you.
This is really just rambling but tldr I think that SVT work so well because they mesh on a fundamental level, and I think growing up together led them to likely be more open-minded and willing to identify with queerness themselves.
I love the videos of them training and just being teens because you can see how they don't have that pressure to appear a certain way yet, and you can observe how they feel, react and so. I don't wanna sound creepy but you can see who is likely in the spectrum in those videos. It's adorable.

&team:What do you think of the following members?
Exo: Xiumin? [ The Leo pic]
Stray kids: Felix [Bi]
Zerobase1: Zhang hao [he obviously is gay, I think he was out in China], Taerae [?]
I am getting into &Team, I remember someone mentioning them here. Do we have any opinions on them?
That was probably me.
I'm not a lune or an engene but I watched the first episode of enhypen's survival show and all of their pre debut reality show.
And binge read like at least the first 30 chapters of dark moon the blood altar and i read some of dark moon the grey city when I was suffering from boy's planet withdrawal in 2023.
so I'm not an expert.
I think jo, harua and fuma r queer though.
Maki pings here. Plus
He used to do ballet.
He did musical theater.
He appeared in the musical Bracken Moor way back in 2019.
He joined the audition after seeing Sunoo (ENHYPEN) doing aegyo during I-LAND.
This is interesting in relation 2 the is Matthew is queer question:
Maki is close friends with Seok Matthew from ZEROBASEONE as they both trained together at HYBE before Maki joined &AUDITION.

Maki (&TEAM) Profile (Updated!) - Kpop Profiles
Maki is a member of the boy group &TEAM, under HYBE Labels Japan. He officially debuted as a member of &TEAM on December 7, 2022.

Nicholas also sort of pings.
Jo
This plus what I've already posted is sort of all I've got as a non fan.

LurkerOn the topic of this, does anyone have an explanation of why yunjae was so widely believed to be real in the late 2000s in western fandoms??The picture of Jaejoong reading yaoi is sadly an edit, albeit a very good one. As expected from the fandom that is still churning out freakishly realistic Yunjae edits to this day.

HallyubooYeah that's what I found. The 3 of them r their own little queer group. But I wasif it was actually a couple and their 1 single friend though.
like I said add it 2 the list.
Oh OK.
That pos is who I was thinking of when I wrote that.
I would rather be a female idol than have 2 kiss men like him 4 a job.
Yeah the misogynistic bg fans be like that.
I'm so glad I'm not in high school right now. It seems worse than 15 even 20 years ago.
if they don't like it they should just leave. I fucking hate this mentality of im upset with u but I love u 2 much 2 leave the fandom.
I've left fandoms b4.
Kpop is a hobby.
Stop treating it like an abusive marriage.
That's why I love when actresses that I like don't do romances, so they can avoid any interaction with them
I used to be more into kpop, but the fandoms are a nightmare, I just listen to some groups and that's it, I'm more into kdrama now but I also don't look up much or I'll find those annoying shipping videos or women treating male actors like babies
about monsta x, they are a curious case because I was sure hyungwon was one of the straight members but I remember that on OH they had so much to talk about him, same thing with minhyuk, but the opposite
