d. When he steps into the dressing room and looks into the cupboard, he hears the sound of a door being locked shut. When he tries to open the door of the dressing room, he finds that the door is locked from the outside. He tries to scream for help but the room is quite soundproof and as everyone is downstairs eating lunch no one hears him. When the police come 5 days later, they find his cold body lying on the dressing room floor.

Final Round
Hercule Poirot came to the dining room halfway through lunch service. When asked why he was late, he remarked that he had a headache and wasn’t feeling too well. He took a serving of chicken pie and then observed everyone at the table.
To his genuine surprise, the entire family was present for the lunch. He noticed Edmund glaring at him so he looked up to give him a smile and tilted his hat. He looked away in response. Poirot observed how Linda was quietly eating her meal. For the first time since Saturday, she actually seemed sober. He wondered if the scotch had stopped working as a coping strategy. He figured it would be in his best interest to not ask. He looked at Mr and Mrs Hollow who were speaking to their guests. They both seemed like they had aged a hundred years since saturday.
His eyes wandered to the rest of the guests. Daisy Basset was speaking to another guest. She looked perfectly alright. No one could say anything was amiss. Ms. Williams and Mr. Bassett were quietly speaking to one another. The softest of smiles on their faces. He looked around at the staff and noticed the housekeeper bringing in more buns and then at the butler who was pouring the guests wine.
He wondered where Margaret and Gary was. Probably tending to their duties.
He finished his meal in relative silence and then sipped a glass of warm water as he looked at the snow. Today it will end. Today he will find all his answers.
