I really expect that doesn't happen...I mean NCT 127 are already making music in japanese...why they need a NCT Japan?...i really hope they think about it better...and IF they really want a japanese sub unit....debut it in a few years not right now.

I think they scrapped the plan of a japanese nct unit, they don't seem to have japanese trainees at all so I don't think it's gonna happen any time soon
plus they are heavily promoting nct127 in japan, they had more public for the japanese branch of the tour than the korean one even. I feel like they noticed they could build a solid fanbase for the whole group in there and decided they didn't really need a specific unit for it

edit: about the possibility of a Thailand unit, I feel like it's still up in the air but they might just use WayV for it? though nct127 themselves are promoting there as well
I feel like it would be better and less messy if they made a general SEA unit based in Thailand, instead of having separate new units for Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam like they planned to originally, that seems like too ambitious of a plan imo
