"When This Rain Stops" is nominated for "Best Pop Song" at the 2022 Korean Music Awards. Here's the text from the KMA page:

This song is a very classic, pure 'pop ballad' with only piano accompaniment and Wendy's vocals. Even after the establishment of the K-Pop division, the reason why the pop division deals with her songs, who are idols, is exactly that. Wendy's singing, leading to a dramatic climax, controlling the emotional escalation more clearly than the feeling heard in the ballads in Red Velvet albums, dominates the entire song. The message of consolation from the experience of going through a big personal accident also creates a gentle sympathy for all of us who are in difficult times in society.

WanD: Thank you! It's an honor. Can I say how I feel about being nominated? I didn't see the reason for the nomination, but I'm very honored to be nominated. Even though it's been almost a year since my solo album was released, many people liked it, so thank you so much. I will continue to work hard as WanD and as Wendy.
