past month at the end of their sport meeting it was announced that since Kaede ended last she was going to do a bungee jump from one of Japan tallest bungee sites (62m) as a punishment (she is scared of heights btw)

she asked Nao and Aika to jump too as moral support but it wasn't much help since these 2 ended having a great time, Kaede? well she almost dies

Candidates are required to write lyrics and sing them according to the provided vocal melody in the demo above. No additional melody or lyrics can be added where the are no vocal parts.

The recorded singing of the candidates will then be uploaded on the WACK Chin Youtube channel anonymously to avoid candidate bias.
The lyrics/singing will be judged based on the number of votes in the official WACK Chin website, where the public can vote for 1 candidate per 24 hours (like the Propaganda voting).
Voting will last from the 23rd to 29th of November.

Top 50 candidates will pass this challenge.

I noticed that almost every time that a member changes her handle it usually gets pick by some fan... but why? hnah:
if the person that took it really is a Kika fan then they should give it back to her

i literally forgot about this audition, usually Wack always manages to make things interesting but i feel that the hype for it died a long time ago...
and i still have no idea what is the final goal but i just can't picture any group coming from it

Yeah I really don't get how fans get their twitter handle, its really weird

and yeah this audition thing is just so boring and uninteresting

if a twitter account changes their name then their previous one becomes available again, the only way to avoid this is creating another account under the previous handle right after you changed into the new one, some companies do this to avoid this type of thing (i think i can recall some cases where the Wack staff did)

that said i could understand if the handles were common names but in this case they are too specific... it has to be on purpose


about the audition, Watanabe even invited members of the groups to guest in his livestreams to try creating interest but even that seems to had failed but i think is too late to pull the plug now

yeah i don't know what's the purpose to do this, is going to be pretty obvious to everyone that they are a fake account

unfortunately twitter is not going to do anything about it since they allow it under their rules... which is pretty dumb since they are more or less allowing people to steal someone else "identity"

I agree, I feel like I've seen so many twitter handles that are taken by random fans. It's not like you'd get any clout for using those usernames.
Hope Kika can get it back, and starts being active on social media again.

At this point it's still feels like the screening stages, like the interviews pre-annual WACK audition, and that's probably why it's just... not exciting.

probably the pandemic ruined his plans (specially with it being "international") but still seems out of character for him to drag this so much and also to turn the audition into a popularity contest, is something he never did before and for that reason i don't think he is actually planning to form a group from the winners, i recall that in the aftermath of this year's camp Watanabe stated that he has plans of overseas activities for BiSH so my take is that is going to be related to that

what surprise me the most is that after almost 4 months since starting there still are more than 50+ participants around, i think at this point there shouldn't be more than 15/20 people maybe?

regardless i think this was a wasted opportunity, with the lack of activities from the groups this could had been a big event to entertain fans... let's hope it gets interesting soon
