new Mameshiba tv episode, more "experiments" this week




actually they were just putting random stuff in a microwave

seeing them in labs coat doing... whatever they are going, reminds me of Steins Gate, must be all that mad scientist stuff
specially Hanae, i'm getting strong Okabe vibes from Her

and yeah it is weird but they do still like and retweet their tweets

And im uncomfortable about it because y'know Anzu's kinda 16, and its doesnt matter if they're just joking its still super weird, and the people replying to it are also super weird, and some are just creepy

i don't think there is an actual reason why they couldn't talk to each other in twitter, Mewclub tags Muropanako, Peri Ubu, Hana, etc, all the time, my guess is they didn't with Pan (or still don't Yuina) to avoid fans asking them to go back to Wack


Watanabe saying that the members are his girlfriends has been discussed here in this thread before,
first it was Pour Lui, then Coco, later Toggy and now Anzu, definitely one of his worst "pranks"
and Watanabe's wife (i think she works at wack too?) doesn't seen to mind this

I feel weird when watching this, idk how to feel about it

the candy review stuff is pretty normal,

the other video, well i don't have a problem with them is just that i don't really get the appeal of ASMR,
to me is almost like a "scratching chalkboard" feeling but since they are pretty popular makes sense she is trying them

(also pretty sure she gets the script of the videos from the channel)

anyway, great news

a solo from Aina is something that have been on the cards since forever
with PEDRO being such a big success there was no excuse to keep delaying her debut

also both Ayuni and Aina are going to be touring around the same time, both are schedule to not conflict with BiSH activities
so is pretty cool to see them working in their personal projects, i'm really going to love this new phase

Personally think her debut took so long was cause of the agreements they had to sign with Avex especially seeing that it's not Matsukuma Kenta producing, but Kameda Seiji who's considered a veteran producer, I can't imagine the budget they put into her project. Plus in the case of Aina it's her own written music, so I can see why it wasn't as finger snappy as Pedro.

Now that I think about it though, with Aina working with Genie High and SUGIZO before, I can't wait for her to collab more with vet artists (HISASHI please collab with WACK again ).

OH, speaking of English lyrics. I was going through my pre-WACK and WACK playlist again and I totally forgot SOCiALiSM was fully English. But apparently were all written in katakana, that's why the lyrics made no sense LOL. Totally forgot how pre-WACK BiS had a lot of songs with English in them too.

i think MiDORiKO knows philippine (she is half Japanese with her mom being from the phillippines) but not sure

I actually think that I made a mistake somehow. I think it's already over, it was yesterday. I doubt there will be news there since they specified that there weren't going to be any archives saved there.

Pedro's part of EMI Records now since early last year, I think during the WACK Exhibition if I'm not mistaken.
But yeah, Kameda Seiji is super famous in Japan for producing individuals like Sheena Ringo, some of Ken Hirai stuff and also groups like Ikimonogakari, Porno Graffiti and Tokyo Jihen.

Also not surprised Akimoto asked Watanabe since he's got a tight relationship with Matsukuma, who's got a really good sense of individuality in writing idol songs (like how he mentioned in a TV segment he was in, that a very small percentage of the WACK songs have a unison singing part ala AKB or Nogizaka and that he focuses on solos of each member more).

I don't think so LOL. If we're including ex-WACKs I would've guessed Saki since she understood one of the English speaking Zoom participants during her last day on NicoNico. Yuina since she applied for the English Conversation Club (aka ECC Yuina, running joke during CoM) and Pan was pretty good in their English tests during CoM as well.

Watanabe has always been pushing all of them in WACK to study English, especially BiSH and BiS, but I don't think there's anyone that's fluent in it.

On top of getting 12 new songs, there's a second disk with all the collabs she's done. Couldn't ask for more. Since she wrote all the new songs herself, I can see why it took so long for this to come out. I don't know what Aina's process is like, but I could imagine her coming up with the melodies/lyrics and then the producers figuring out the arrangement to go along with it.
