Depending on which badges receives approval, we may need to conduct a poll to get a single wildcard winner for members with more than one wildcard candidate. As the deadline for wildcard submissions as passed, we won't be accepting any more badge candidates for the wildcard round.

I've also updated Post#1 with updated rules for wildcard rounds, particularly about polling (no more "1, max 2" rule - we will be polling for wildcard winners (1 per member)) and also about pre-approval (rejected badges will be eliminated from polling, no new submissions).

While we wait for the wildcards, I just wanted to announce what's next for Twice Badges.

1. OTP / OT9 badges: I'm sure a lot of people will be waiting for these, so we'll be allocating plenty of time for submissions and discussions. Among the things we'll need to sort out will be which OTPs to prioritize, since there are so many pairings with 9 members. I would also like to ensure that OT9 badges (3 badges, 9 members) are well represented. Do start sourcing for good pictures to work with.

2. Group Badge - Alternate: Since OTP/OT9 badges will take quite a bit of time, our next badge vote after the wildcard round will be the alternate group badge. We're hoping to get the member / wildcard badges concluded within the next few days, and allow for submissions of alternate group badge all of next week, so if you are interested, please start working on them now. If you have alternate badge samples already, you can go ahead and submit them now to start off discussions instead of waiting for the wildcard badges to finish. Multitasking FTW.

Most of the winner badges are much better than the wildcard suggestions and again, the only wildcard suggestion that is better or equal in quality to the winner is Jeongyeon's...

The amount of unnecessary suggestions we got is pretty annoying taking into consideration most are BAD and will only slow the process.

I hope we go through a voting for the members wildcards because no one but Jeongyeon will benefit from an wildcard, I will discuss the details with @whisky23 later

I think these are the only wildcards that are better than the final badges. Don't get me wrong Chae's final badge is nice as a picture but as a badge this is better.

To balance out the needs of both wildcarders and non-wildcarders, we will be polling for which members people wish for a wildcard round (or not). Typically, this is how wildcards are done - poll#1 being the poll to choose whether to proceed with a wildcard vote (per member), and poll#2 being the actual wildcard vote itself. By going the "1, max 2" option, I was hoping to circumvent the first vote, and go straight into the actual wildcard vote. However, because we have had quite a few wildcard submissions, with some members getting more than one wildcard option, it appears that pre-polling to choose the best wildcard badge is unavoidable.

Also, some people have requested to have a pre-vote for them to choose which members they want a wildcard round, and which ones they don't. Again, this is what's normally done, and something I had hoped to avoid to speed up the whole voting process, but it appears this is also unavoidable.

So, next up for the wildcards:
1. Await approval from Admins regarding submitted wildcard options. Rejected options will be dropped from the voting options, unless a high res version is made available. No new submissions will be allowed.
2. Poll will be conducted to see which members people want for a wildcard round, and which members people don't want for a wildcard round.
3. For the approved members, if there are more than one badge option, we will poll to choose the top wildcard badge.
4. Wildcard round will end with the actual runoff between the winning badge and the top wildcard badge, for members chosen for wildcard rounds in the prevote.

Because the polling system can have 15 options, we can actually have 7 wildcard runoffs at the same time, so the number of polls is still the same (as long as it's under 7).

Tbh, i had my proposals checked by the AT before and i just noticed they had replied. Basically all of my proposals were rejected so you can cross them off the list.

1. Please propose your wildcard badges for the respective members. I'll give a timeframe of 24 hours for wildcard options to be submitted. So deadline is 2200 KST July 27th.
2. Again, it's "1, max 2" wildcards. If you have more than 2, y'all need to pick the top 2 to submit.
3. I'll need @B612 to pre-approve all the wildcard badges before we proceed with the vote.
4. Please try to adhere to the awards guidelines to avoid getting your badges rejected by the Admins. Also, please have a link to the HD source ready as we will need to submit those for approval as well.

Spoiler: General Guidelines

- No fantaken images - To protect the content creators rights as well as ourselves fantaken images are not allowed to be used as badges.
- Use HQ pictures - For quality purposes, the higher quality the better an image will look as a badge.
- No heavily edited images - The more edited the worse the quality becomes overall.
- No extreme contrast, highlighted colours, or super light/dark images - They just don't look good when sized down.
- Face should be centered - For aesthetic purposes.
- Logos should only be used for groups and are not allowed for individuals in most cases - We understand some artists are very difficult to find pictures of and will deal with that on a case by case basis.
- Only screenshots from Music Videos, CFs and official content are allowed - If you're unsure what falls under this rule please don't hesitate to ask on our ask thread.
- Profiles can be used as well as some object cover is allowed - Face coverage isn't totally ruled out but the more you can see of the artist the better. Profiles are OK if we can clearly tell who the artist is.
- Derp Faces/Exaggerated facial expressions/Unrecognisable - These will not be allowed, badges are not to be meme like or something that is out of the ordinary/unpleasant such as frowning, crying, etc. We will also not be allowing badges that look weird and in which people look unrecognisable regardless of it being an official picture.
- Zooms - Any mocks found to be too zoomed in or zoomed out will need to be readjusted, as all badges must be able to resized down to 74x74 properly . In the event a mock does not pass crop standards, it will need to be readjusted until our quality standards are met.
- Pre-approval of badges - We ask that all OP’s submit their round 1 mocks for pre-approval of by an Awards member in the appropriate thread (Link). This is to avoid badges of lower quality, bad lighting, etc, from making it to later rounds and dividing votes from other badges. That being said we still reserve the right to veto any badge that we feel does not follow the rules by the final crop (this is especially relevant in crop rounds).
- Final submission - The Awards team reserve the right to re-do a mock if we feel they are not in accordance to all the aforementioned rules.

As for @B612 , turns out she wasn't able to connect to the internet for the past few days. Not only wasn't she able to respond to your requests for input, but turns out she had some suggestions of her own. Sigh..

Since Bee is the main Twice badge designer plus awards team member, I'll give a pass for her late badge submissions due to her connection issues.

@meltrosz yeah, I noticed it wasn't on @AStan summary post which I based my submission off. Quickly message @B612 that nylon badge since she's prepping her badge submissions and approvals. But sorry, I'm not taking submissions from anyone else since everyone else was online.
