The Gay and Queer in Kpop Thread

I feel... Conflicted. Lol.
The aesthetics are there. Parts of the song are great.
It's just not pulling me in and I don't know why.
The servers are serving. The rap was a miss.
And the "silly, silly" sections were not it.
Maybe it's the lack of budget (probably this).
Like if you gave the song and concept to a more established group (a.c.e or way or zb1 unit would do it justice), I'd probably eat it up.

I just hope this gets some traction so they can keep doing things. I hope they can do some promotions because I'll always be seated for Kuanrui somehow not breaking every bone in his body lol

How are we feeling about XLOV's debut? 3 ex boys planet contestants and those lyrics are pretty on the nose but in a good way. Wumuti and Rui have definitely been serving from the start lol

it's such a damn serve and i love the choreo so much but i agree about the rap being a flop i didn't even think that part was meh, just instantly hated it with a burning passion so i can't listen to the entire song. i wish boy groups (all groups really) would go back to singing through entire choruses. still i'm going to keep an eye on them for sure.

This was back when they were 6. General fandom consensus has long been that it was Ravn and Leedo who were het. I don't think the guy actually had insider knowledge though. I think he was just saying they seemed gay (because they do let's be real here)

don't know the group so I can't say anything, but he probably said that as a joke and it blew out of proportion, the members wouldn't be that obvious around people they are not close

Nah that predebut Keonhee/Hwanwoong/Dongmyeong/Xion friendship is really giving girls time lol I think Keonhee is a little less popular and never flirts with the other members so people write him off. I could see a Seoho het (or ace tbh) argument but I definitely think Keonhee is on the team lol

If Leedo is gay he's an absolute lunatic to flirt with Xion to that degree on camera. The level of fanservice they do feels like something that can only be done if there's already a prior understanding that "nothing will ever happen between us in real life" tbh

But there are some with a decent amount of discussion. Gong Yoo, Gong Myung, Byeon Wooseok. You could argue Cha Eunwoo as well.
