Honestly, looking back I feel like I've taken a lot of things for granted during Twice rookie days through TT. Sometimes I didn't even bother watching some of their vlives and stuff 'cause of the overwhelming amount of content, which I thought it was a given and would last for a long time *seojeong cries* *somi cries* *hani cries*

They literally promise to do picnic vlive when vlive subs reach 5m. How can they forgot??

Anyway, number of most subscriber in twice vlive is now:
1.japan
2.ph
3.sk

what do you think? Their k fans are not decreasing right? Or its just they gain so many sea fans now??

i believe their K fans are increasing just looking from jype choose venue to do fanmeeting or maybe there is so much jelly onces (i-onces) going to fanmeeting.

Haha I have actually watched every single vlive and most likely every show over the years. But obviously, for some of them, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen them or even thought about them. It’s nice to be reminded of them every now and then lol

It's more because of demographics. SK has a smaller ceiling/growth potential in terms of raw numbers compared to Japan and Philippines. It seems more indicative of their increase in these two countries than decrease in SK.

Just using a number exercise to illustrate it, not real statistics. JP pop = 125m, Ph pop = 100m, SK pop = 50m. Just ignore different market situations, income, demographic make up, and so on. Just a pure number game. Let's say 1% of SK will be a Twice subscriber on Vlive. That would be 500K. 0.5% of Ph would be the same number. While Japan at 1% would be more than both combined at these percentages. Let's say SK growth was 3% which is a huge increase (1.5m). Let's say PH increased less and jumped to 1%. They already tailing SK with a slower growth rate.

The real % are different of course. At this point, Japan could even afford to lose fans and and still be ahead of both.

I'm ignoring lot of factors for this number exercise, but judging Vlive numbers that seems more likely. Every place is growing. Different rates granted, but sheer population number in those areas could explain this.

Of course diminishing SK fanbase on Vlive could be a factor too, but without raw numbers, you can't see that with this ranking alone. All 3 countries could be losing subscribers while the rest of the world is picking up the slack for instance.
