I found the reason for the weird ear-licking lyric in Obsession: it's written by Kenzie aka Wolf's lyricist.

Although maybe they mean licking like a demon since the protag is sleeping. So it's not meant to sound so sexual (unless we're talking about succubi). But the situation is themselves being pestered by their demons while not realizing that the demon is also them.
