I saw a hiatus chart for HxH and I would say it's near impossible for another season anytime soon. There is just not enough source material for it

Magi is possible though, I remember reading it long time ago until I forgot where I left off around the final arc or the one before...
I haven't gone back

It is actually hilarious how many times that guy goes on hiatus.

the woman who wrote magi has another manga called Orient that is currently airing, I'm hoping that is a good omen....

also btw, I couldn't even get through the opening on Orient.... So weird, the characters look like kingdom hearts characters..... Lightning did NOT strike twice for me on that

CA arc was too intense for me, I actually avoided watching it for the longest time
I ended up giving in. It's a good arc for sure but I don't think I will have motivation to watch it if it was a stand alone anime.

No I don't believe it is a spinoff, just a new series she started. Yeah she did around 2018ish iirc

Yeah I was talking about the chimera ant arc. It has some good parts that I'll remember for a long time, but overall I'd say it lasted for too long and had too many boring parts that at the same felt unskippable imo...

also again really didn't like how some of the fights went later in the arc... and the ending...


Election arc was definitely a lot better and made me feel like I was actually watching HxH again and not some weird spin off about ants

I love the more intense and darker arcs so CA and York New were my favorites ajlsdkf CA was honestly what made this anime go from great to a masterpiece for me

But I could understand why some people didn't like it...especially with some of the sudden narration-heavy and drag-out episodes

I don’t remember what happened in York New but I love that scene where we found out Kurapika’s power.

I should re watch HxH from start to finish again after I finished re reading Skip Beat!

The Hunter Exam is my favorite "lighthearted" arc

Although I won't be stealing Kyoko from you for sure, it's quite enjoyable for what it is some of the gags were funny (when not too overdone ausgsh).

kyoko is cute! also I am a sucker for good plot and characterization related to entertainment industry, so it's my favorite shoujo

I have one or two more shoujo I can recommend whenever you are in the mood for something lighthearted or want development of strong FL.

i was rewatching Hunter x Hunter pretty recently

i loved the Chimera Arc its def better than my first watch.....i do think the first half of the arc felt slow, but the second half of it were fantastic
