Yeah same, but non the less they are out there. I think the album sales is a sensitive subject for them, especially because that's entirely fandom related. Compared to their peers SNSD, 2ne1, Kara, T-ara, AOA, etc their sales are very low. I see them fighting with T-ara fans all the time too lmaaao. But frankly, WJSN were the 4th group ever from a non big 3 or produce to sell over 100k for an album( Kara, gidle, Mamamoo, now Dreamcatcher and Loona). Which is a very big achievement for a girl group.

To me their album sales are not really in the same ballpark at all. It's one thing if its 100k or 200k difference you could talk about fansigns or company related promo but WJSN sell 575,000 more albums in 2 less years. That's a staggering difference. And when they sell 800k? 900k? 1 Million? Tbh they still will not be respected by these people because they have this WJSN grudge. I mean no one will deny the 9 #1s SISTAR had, but these twitter Star1s will find every excuse they can to pretend that WJSN are nugus or something. Even tho WJSN literally sell 5x more than them. Really not much argument to be had for such a difference.

It doesn't make sense at all, but I have seen them wanting to blame everything else except what happened, which was basically nothing as they had one of the best disbandments I can think of. Yeah idk its weird they are still around tbh(star 1s). I feel like if WJSN disband I'm not gonna be on Twitter saying how bad the next Starship girl group is 4 years later lmao

tbh I've seen this same thing since I joined twitter back in 2018 and they were going strong calling WJSN We Just Sold Nothing and flops etc. It's pretty tiring really because what they continually try to say about WJSN are literally untrue and a really just poor reflection on these Star1s insecurity. Idk really weird tbh. I know Senior group fans usually feel threatened by new rookie groups so its not super surprising, but its kinda sad how they are still so adamant about portraying WJSN the way they do.

Yeah tbh I would say there is some type of drama or fighting every few days on UJung twitter, for the huge groups like BTS and Blackpink they are fighting each other and the different solo stans(BP) everyday, all the time lmaaao It's really a terrible place

Honestly, I don't understand the comparison of album sales. Digital is where it's at. Music shows rate them higher than album sales at this point. I understand fandoms think of album sales as a big thing, but it just doesn't make sense. Albums are for fans who want to collect them. There are plenty of fans who buy multiple albums, sometimes in excess (like 80 or 100 copies and then re-sell them). If you download a song, it's not like you're downloading it multiple times, usually it's just once and can be shared on devices (which I think is more representative). I buy mostly digital and albums if I want photobooks now. I should get my WJSN The Black albums later this week.

WJSN are not nugus anymore. They sell physical albums well and win number 1 on music shows often enough. I'm actually surprised WJSN The Black almost hit Unnatural 1st week sales. Clearly making this sub-unit was a great idea.

Given the behavior you describe, I can't consider people like that fans of Sistar. WJSN members are friendly with Sistar members. I think all WJSN members follow Sistar members on Instagram. I don't understand how you can claim to be STAR1 and bash a group Sistar members support. Makes no sense.

Sistar is a special group. They came from nothing (I think Starship had like 3 staff members and K.Will when they put Sistar together, the girls used to sleep in sleeping bags in the practice room, etc.). The fact Sistar became as successful as they did is not only a testament to the group, but Starship's management as well. At best maybe a handful of groups can say they turned out so well coming from nothing.

Sounds like you should take a break from Twitter...

Tbh I think so, most of the ones I have talked to dismiss WJSN and bring up 9 # 1s and say WJSN will never get a hit and SS should disband them lmao

To me really the only thing I care about is WJSN being happy and able to continue being a group. Personally I buy 9 albums per comeback stream vote and update forums for WJSN. I do that because I want them to be successful(which they are, I should stop buying that many albums now lmao) I just want people to appreciate them and honestly its always made me sad and annoyed that Star1s didn't want to support WJSN and lots would just be mean about them. I just cant see why they would be that way.

Yeah SISTAR was a special group. They and KWILL made SS a company. Monsta X and WJSN have grown the company to a giant prison like building through their album sales and touring. It's kinda interesting the way it looks now lmaao.




Anyways, I always like SISTAR and just wanted people to not act like WJSN are their enemy, because they aren't and never were, their just their juniors in the same company and deserve to have some respect after succeeding in a lot of different areas.

Yeah tbh I was ok until yesterday when Ujungs started getting in 2 fights at once But yeah you're right tho twitter is different than real life so I should keep that in mind.
