♬ honey, im good ♬recently finished watching She and Her Girls, cdrama based on a real life person named Zhang Gui Mei who founded the first and only chinese free public high school for girls in the rural/mountain areas. definitely recommended! i cried so many times watching this but still it has humor as well. It’s a touching and heartwarming story. full review about this drama:

♬ honey, im good ♬Finished the 1st season Bridgerton. Why are some of their acting so pretentious ahgskal Only thing that kept me going was the duke is good looking and Daphne is pretty, but how many *** scenes could they possibly have
Idk if ill start season 2.
She and her gals - finished 5 episodes. It's a nice story with good values, buuut i think it's a bit too "feel-goody" so far in its execution. Like...things seemed to be going a bit too easy and convenient for them. Guess I'm used to watching more tragic stuff where characters had to suffer endlessly before they could see any light at the end of the tunnel
Also, Ms. Zhang...she's a good heart and all, but the way she's making those around her do and see things her way is a bit...uh, annoying. Like she was being dismissive when one of the teachers said she was not disclosing all these details when hiring them, which is a valid concern tbh
Anywho, ill continue to watch and see how it goes because i do like the storyline

I like feel good shows! I can’t do too much tragic. Ms. Zhang is so stubborn but only her type of person can make this reality. I don’t blame that other teacher either (I have seen her in other dramas so I like her lol). This job is not for everyone and I could never do it. It would have been nice if she was told of the reality so she can make informed decision whether she wants to take on the job or not. Ms. Zhang only said it will be hard work but she didn’t really explain much.. everyone’s definition of hard work is different

GuestI watched Love in the Big City! It’s my second Korean drama. (3rd?)
I actually loved it. I cried and laughed a lot and I can say the realism really moved me. It was so hard to accept Go Young sometimes but I understand that it’s the point.

I like feel-good shows too but if a show is meant to discuss a serious theme, I'd want it to be more realistic. What she did lowkey felt like a scam...and how she had this preconceived notion about the rich girl as well asfgwhk But yeah, saying all that, i do get that it'd take someone with her personality to make things happen

P.S. i haven't cried yet. Perhaps im truly heartless
