It's a real phobia indeed...and some fans were actually worried for her because of the quantity of pigeons.

yes. some might think it's silly or cute. Cuz of course her reactions are cute. But still.. hope fans can understand it's a real phobia and she's not doing it just for attention. Lay from Exo has the same pidgeon phobia.

Personally I think this is cruel and stupid. To put him in a situation where he has a phobia just for entertainment. but.. it's China variety show so not surprised.
I better not find Karina in this situation just for the sake of entertainment.

I wonder if people with pidgeon/bird phobia are more numerous than I thought or it's more prevalent among idols. And why pidgeons particularly :unsure:

Because I know or heard about other cases : Heejin, Haseul, Lia are also afraid of them and there's likely more I forgot

Since I'm used to pidgeons, which Paris is known for if you visited the city

I'm not sure if there is any minority. I think any phobia can attack anyone without any cause. Maybe it might seem like it affects lots of idols cuz we are immersed into kpop and lot of idols lives on and off screen. But I'm sure there are many people in general that probably have a pidgeon phobia. Most probably come from a possible traumatic experience. Like my friend is afraid of dogs ever since she was bitten. It doesn't matter what breed or size. If they come close to her she will freak out. Once we came out of a coffee shop and two small dogs came to her and she screamed, jumped up and push me in front :irene: . If you watched the Lay video they asked him why he afraid of pidgeons and he says he has phobia of anything with pointed beaks etc. And I can see why. Like small birds I don't really care. But the big birds you see for tourist attractions I kind of freaked out about it that they will bite me :omfgpepe:
