I've done as the message says and I am unable to see the badges. They are on the profile, but not on the sidebar. I'm on mobile but could see them on desktop before. I cleared caches and restarted my phone too. I can see other user's badges on sidebar

With the new update, you will need to set featured badges. Go to your profile, click awards and you can set them there.
