MONDAY:
#1- Some interesting facts were brought to light following Hinapia's debut! Member Yaebin revealed that Pristin was actually working on their next album when their sudden disbandment occurred. How do you feel about this revelation?
#2- New info for Astro fans as Fantagio gave more insight into the group's comeback. Their 6th mini-album "Blue Flame" is set to be released on November 20th!
#3- Monsta X has been a source of news for the past few weeks, and their company Starship Entertainment is not backing down on rumors, malicious comments, etc. They posted on Twitter to let the world that they have taken action against these individuals.
#4- An unfortunate incident occurred as it was reported that BTS's Jungkook was involved in a minor car accident. Luckily, neither party was seriously injured, but Big Hit did confirm that the singer was the cause. The two drivers settled the issue among themselves, but the singer still needs to go through an investigation.
#5 - Hitmaker Park Jinyoung, otherwise known as JYP, will be holding his own concert! It will feature his own singles as well his top songs that he created for other groups and singers! Which JYP song do you enjoy the most?
#6- Following 36 years of providing the best in media news, KBS's Entertainment Weekly will reportedly end in late December. Thank you to the cast and crew for their hard work!
#7- BTS continues their domination in the global market! They picked up three awards including Best Group, at the MTV EMAs. But it doesn't stop there, as rookie group ATEEZ was able to win the Best Korean Act! Congratulations to everyone, both winners and nominees!
#8- IU's "Love Poem" has already been tearing up the charts in Korea, but the singer/songwriter has finally set a date for her comeback. She will drop her 5th mini-album of the same name on November 18th! Are you looking forward to the tracks?
TUESDAY:
#1- Drama fans, prepare your tissues. Actor Hong Jong Hyun has his enlistment date set for December 2nd. Which of his dramas or movies did you enjoy the most?
#2- In more acting news, Lee Dong Wook recently celebrated his debut anniversary and his birthday this past 5th and 6th, respectively. In addition, he will have his own talk show titled "Lee Dong Wook Wants To Talk" starting on December 4th with guest Gong Yoo! What a great "Goblin" reunion!
#3- It was revealed on Tuesday that SM Entertainment signed a contract with Creative Artists Agency (one of the most influential agencies in the US) in order to hold support global activities for Super M and NCT127. SM really doesn't play around when it comes to promoting their groups!
#4- Details on the Produce series' police investigation kept dropping this week, and it started with the arrest of Ahn Joon Young, the show's PD. The man reportedly accepted bribes (wine and meetings at adult entertainment places) from entertainment agencies in order to rig votes. Prepare yourself for more revelations...
WEDNESDAY:
#1- Fans of Ong Seongwu, rejoice! The former Wanna One member will reportedly hold his first fan meeting in Korea in January 2020. If you plan on visiting Seoul on that month, keep an eye out for the official announcement!
#2- Filipino fashion brand Penshoppe announced that Blackpink's Lisa has become their new ambassador! They posted a video of the idol introducing herself and shooting for their next campaign on their official Twitter account. We can't wait to see the pictures!
#2- On Wednesday, we also learned that Taeyeon's OST for the Korean release of Frozen 2, "Into The Unknown", would be released on music sites 24 hours later! As announced, the track dropped early on Thursday. What do you think of it?
#4- Last but not least, Mattel finally gave us pictures of their new BTS dolls! However, looking at the comments posted on the forum, Army aren't really happy with the final product and we can understand their frustration....
THURSDAY:
#1- On Thursday, we learned that ex-2NE1's CL was reportedly leaving YG Entertainment. The company first tried to deny and said that the renewal of her contract was still under negotiation, but the news was confirmed the next day. And to her fans' dismay, YG ended up deleting her official Youtube channel... before bringing it back a few hours ago. Whatever is happening between YG and CL behind the scenes, we wish the idol good luck in her future endeavors!
#2- Awards season is starting very soon! MBC announced that their own ceremony would be held on December 29 and appointed Jeon Hyun Moo, Mamamoo's Hwasa and Block B's P.O to be the MCs. Let's anticipate!
#3- Oh My Girl's Seunghee was chosen to sing the National Anthem at a baseball match between Canada and South Korea! We congratulate her for snatching this prestigious opportunity!
#4- On Thursday, Seventeen had to perform in Japan without one of their members, as Pledis announced that Dino was suffering from enteritis symptoms. We hope he has recovered since then!
#5- Because of the investigation conducted on the Produce series' (on Wednesday, we learned that travel bans were officially issued on PDs and Starship's vice president), IZ*ONE's activities have been put on hold. Their first full album "BLOOM*IZ", which was supposed to be released on November 11th, and the premiere date for "Eyes on Me: The Movie" have both been postponed. Their TV appearances on MBC's My Little Television, JTBC's Idol Room, and tvN's Amazing Saturday - Doremi Market have also been canceled one by one. Let's hope this scandal will stop affecting them soon...
FRIDAY:
#1- Great news for Carats: Seventeen revealed on their official Twitter account that they are planning a European Tour! We will definitely keep an eye out for ticketing announcements!
#2- It was also announced on Friday that GOT7's Jinyoung would appear in tvN's drama "Melting Me Softly"! Congratulations to him for being chosen, we will anticipate his cameo!
#3- G-Dragon has already scheduled his first public appearance since being discharged from the army! He will be promoting the sneakers he created in collaboration with Nike at a special release event on November 23!
#4- Last but not least, we learned on Friday that Noel's Lee Sang Gon and actress Yeon Song Ha will be getting married on March 14th! CSJH The Grace's Sunday also announced that she and her fiancé's own wedding ceremony was planned for March 1st in a long, heartfelt message posted on Instagram. Congratulations to the two couples!
SATURDAY:
#1- Speaking of weddings, former BABY V.O.X members reunited to celebrate Kan Mi Youn's wedding on Saturday! Kim E-Z, Lee Hee Jin, Shim Eun Jin, and Yoon Eun Hye all attended the ceremony and even gave speeches for the occasion. It's heartwarming to see their friendship is still strong after all these years!
#2- VIXX's Ravi and Hotshot's Sungwoon have been chosen to be the MCs of the "#ForTheLoveOfIt" concert organized by Pepsi on November 24th! Congratulations to them, we will sure they will do a good job!
#3- On Saturday, SuperM finally revealed their official lightstick! Will you purchase one, HallyuPlus users?
SUNDAY:
#1- Sunday started with some cryptic news from C9: the company opened SNS accounts for C9GIRLZ, which is apparently the codename for their upcoming girl group. We still have no other information on potential members. We will definitely keep an eye out for more details!
#2- BigBang's Taeyang and Daesung have been discharged from the military! The two idols appeared together in front of journalists and fans early in the morning. Let's now wait for more announcements on their future activities!
#3- Momoland's Jane has opened an account on Instagram! She has already posted three pictures there, so make sure you follow her!

#1- HYUNA - FLOWER SHOWER
Is it really autumn season now? We didn't feel like it was while watching HyunA's debut under her new label, Psy's "P-Nation"! The idol released "Flower Shower", a moombahton pop track with strong dance elements on Tuesday. In the aesthetically pleasing MV that goes with the song, we can see her dance in flower fields, while her soft yet powerful vocals showcase the passing of life like flowers that bloom and fade. Check out this song and fall for HyunA all over again!
#2- GOT7 - YOU CALLING MY NAME
Almost as if they heard fans' calls for a comeback, GOT7 released their much anticipated tenth mini-album "Call My Name". This time, we have the opportunity to see the sexy, dark and sophisticated side of the group in the album's lead track, "You Calling My Name". Soft vocals, a seductive choreography, and a music video that emits passion... make sure to check it out!
#3- VICTON - NOSTALGIC NIGHT
A year and a half after their last release, and on wings of a newly-found Produce X101 fame, Victon made a comeback on Monday with their fifth mini-album, "Nostalgia" and its title track, "Nostalgic night". This time, no upbeat or refreshing pop sounds: in this melancholic and EDM track, we have the chance to see the group's image shift from innocent and boyish to darker and more mature. It's time for you to give it a listen!
#4- BVNDIT - DUMB
One of the strongest debut acts of this year is back with their first mini-album, "BE!". Bvndit continues to show their various charms in the dance track "Dumb" and appears with a bold concept, which is much different from the refreshing song they debuted with. The music video is full of astonishing scenarios, girl crush charms, and synchronized choreographies. Don't miss out on these trendy rookies and check their song out below!
#5- SCANDAL - YOU'RE THE ULTIMATE WEAPON
Japanese rock girl band Scandal came back this week with "You're The Ultimate Weapon"! Along with powerful instrumentals and strong guitar riffs, Scandal is here to share a strong and inspiring message by comparing each member to a weapon that governs our fates. Make sure you check this sound out, and we hope you will enjoy it!
#6- LEE JINHYUK - I LIKE THAT
Former Produce X101 contestant and UP10TION's rapper Jinhyuk (also known as Wei) made his official solo debut with his album, "S.O.L" and its energetic title track, "I Like That"! With this upbeat EDM/hip hop track, which comes with a powerful choreography, the idol goes all out to showcases his individual skills as a vocalist, dancer, and rapper. We are sure you will enjoy this release as much as we did!
#7- ZICO FT. DVWN - BEING LEFT
This week's melancholic song is courtesy of Zico. After the release of "Balloon" last week, the rapper spread even more emotional vibes with "Thinking part.2", the second part of his first LP. In the title song "Being Left", he portrays the loneliness one may feel after parting ways with their significant other. Shed a few tears and see for yourself how Zico copes with sadness.
#8- ANGERME - THE SUNDAY MORNING I CAN'T GET UP AT ALL
After the release of "The One That Created Me Is Myself", which was the first a-side from their new single album, Japanese girl group Angerme came back on Friday with their second a-side "The Sunday Morning I Can't Get Up At All"! While the first part oozed with confidence, this new song lets us see the weaker, more emotional side of the girls as their mellow voices tell us the story of a love that is not good for them, even as they ache for it. #9- DAWN - MONEY
Resplendent Dawn and money all around. This is what welcomed us in Dawn's solo debut digital track, which is unsurprisingly named "Money". In his first release under the label P-Nation, the artist expresses his sleek dance moves and questions the value of money in what started as a melancholic tune and ended up being an EDM track. What does he say: is money truly important, or was this a reference to love in the song? check it out for yourself!

BTS's "Spring Day" has also charted on Melon for 1,000 days, making it the longest-charting song there and it's still going strong at #72!
