I think most people don't want her because even though she's a 5*, she has been power crept by Diona who offers a lot more than she does. Qiqi heals a lot more than Diona can, but we don't have any content at the moment that requires that amount of healing unless someone is just really, really bad at dodging enemy attacks. Diona offers decent healing, great shield support that's probably only 2nd to Zhongli and undeniably better constellations (which doesn't say a lot when Qiqi has arguably the worst cons in the entire game), especially the EM boost she gives at C6. Even with the subpar anniversary awards, all it would have taken was Mihoyo announcing changes to the standard banner (including removing Qiqi from it and replacing her with someone good like Albedo) to get players a bit more excited.

Fully prepared to get cucked by Mihoyo for saying that when I end up losing 50-50 on Baal's banner and get spooked by Qiqi. When it eventually happens, I'm not even gonna bother wasting resources to build her until there's content that actually requires her healing capabilities.

I mean C6 Diona is OP as hell. Though I can't use her in my overworld team bc she ruins my mono-electro team w/ super-conduct. I hate it. I started building Noelle to replace her in my reaction/swirl based teams. Kazuha is swirling cryo 90% of the time when I pair her with Keqing & Fish. The EM buff just isn't worth it at his point. Albedo needs to hurry up and re-run so I can finally get myself a non-elemental shielder. I'll even take crystalise shields at this point.

I really want a redo of the standard banner soon. The weapons and characters in that selection have really aged poorly. The whole Skyward series (sans the Harp) should be removed. I've gotten two Skyward Blades from the standard banner, but no Jade Spear or Skyward Harp (AKA the only weapons I actually need).

I've heard that future abyss will be in need of healers soon bc they'll be adding DOT features later on. Though there's probably still a better character to use instead of Qiqi.

I have almost zero built shielders aside from a scuffed Noelle that I'm still working on rn so I actually need to use healers 70% of the time, but I tend to enjoy building atk% scaling healers like Qiqi & Jean bc they're a lot easier to build based on my RNG luck; plus I haven't touched Noblesse domain in over 2 months (I kept getting BS pieces and gave up farming for Diona). At least I can build Phys Keqing though. I'll probably build her sometime after I'm done with Baal & Sara as I need to save & plan on skipping all the upcoming female banners (sans the ones w/ male 4-stars ofc) and I need to go back to farming the VV domain soon.

Hell, even Barbara is better than Qiqi, they're C6 is essentially the same, but Barbara restores HP to max compared to Qiqi's 50% restoration.

Meanwhile, why do I feel like a Scaramouche banner will be dropping any minute now? His English VA is fantastic! JP was meh, CN was nice bc it's Aether's VA ~
I finally get to meet him for the first time! 2.1 will give me upwards of 60 pulls, so I should be able to try and 50/50 whoever drops in 2.2 (Scaramouche or Albedo pls). Though if it's another set of waifu banners, without any Thoma/Gorou, then it'll be a hard skip!

I feel like Thoma's local ascension mats are locked in one of the currently unknown regions, or they're saving him for Ayato.


They didn't end up announcing any updates in the Standard Banner in the latest live stream, but I wonder if it'll update without any announcements. I'd like to see some new characters and weapons added to the banner. Remove Qiqi from standard pls. No one wants ha

Today's Okuden stage for the new event was the first one that I actually failed to complete on the first try. I actually had to bring out my OP triple reaction team for this round. They cheesed it in less than a minute. It's funny bc I legit struggled and failed to complete the higher levels of the contending tides event. Why is this event so much easier? Is it bc I finally have better-built characters or smth?

C1 Hu Tao is OP as hell here. If only Keqing had a stamina reducing con like that. 25 stamina for a charged attack is such a messy design (esp considering that Ayaka doesn't have that caveat)
Raiden drops in just over a week. I'm hyped! Raiden & C2 Sara is all I want (C4 if I'm lucky)

I dont think kazuha is dying I got more interested in the healing part what if kazuha will get a healing skill once he somehow revive his friend ?

I'd like to learn more about Kazuha's friend once the archon quest updates, plus we'll get to see more of Thoma & Kazuha finally.

yep, I'm doing a quick 20-pull until I hit pity for Baal and saving for Scaramouche & Albedo. Aside from Raiden, only two Inazuma 5-star characters interest me right now: Scaramouche & Ayato. And there's like zero info about Ayato aside from some character voicelines. I already have enough wishes to guarantee pity for Baal so I'll be able to save all the 2.1 primos and rewards for Scaramouche.

I got C1 Keqing instead of Zhongli. I mean it was the best-case scenario bc I main her, b-but Zhong Li. The geo 5-stars keep dodging my pulls

idk what Mihoyo was thinking by wasting a character's passive by making them unable to even cook. Like... I used up two weeks farming fish for Kazuha's specialty dish and actually look forward to finding out most of the signature dishes. If they're trying to put an easter egg into the game with this passive by saying that the character sucks at cooking then this is not it imo. They should've just reused Hu Tao's cooking passive instead...
My wishes of getting a new signature dish has gone down the drain.

Something I've been missing lately, 4-star story quests. I really liked the Xingqiu & Xiangling quests and wouldn't mind some more story quests. Maybe one for Thoma (when he finally releases) or Beidou, I want context re: her defeating Haishan. She's one of the most interesting characters imo

She's going to have four passives (as compared to the standard 3 which is what other characters have) so it isn't really wasting a passive when it's an entirely new slot. I love the attention to detail of having a character (especially one who's a powerful Archon) who just can't cook at all, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they bring it up in her lore.

I finally hit enough EXP books to get Baal to 80 ascended & 8-8-8 talents when she drops
The only issue is that bc I've been farming leylines & Bosses all month I have zero good artifacts for her. My only good ER set is a 4-piece Heart of Depths sjdsjk
I won't even be able to get a good set for her immediately bc they region-locked the new electro boss & I'll be doing leylines until the 2.1 update as Sara & Aloy will also need levelling.

She's going to have four passives (as compared to the standard 3 which is what other characters have) so it isn't really wasting a passive when it's an entirely new slot. I love the attention to detail of having a character (especially one who's a powerful Archon) who just can't cook at all, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they bring it up in her lore.

My issue is, taking into account that it looks like they're now introducing triple passives to a few of the new 5-stars, Kkomi and Raiden both have extra passives; and that doesn't stop them from adding a fourth passive to other characters in the future so it technically is a wasted passive. Like... why not give her a passive like Hu Tao and have 100% of everything she cooks as a suspicious dish instead. Though I guess I'm just salty ab not having access to a new specialty dish skdjdjsk

Reminder to self not to convert primos into fates ever again. I accidentally did a 10 pull while trying to go into the shop menu and almost had a heart attack. I'm now at 61 wishes in, so one more 10-pull and I should have a new 5-star. Thankfully, I got Diona instead of Yoimiya. So at least I have one extra wish (bc C6 Diona) to go towards Raiden/Sara.

I've come to terms with the cooking passive now bc I'm far more excited for that weapon passive. Getting all my swords & polearms to 90 won't cost so much anymore! All of my support weapons have been stuck at lvl 70 bc it costs so much to level them up to max.

Since I started farming crystals I now have over 500 weapon enhancement ores, now my only problem is mora. I have 3 million mora rn, but that'll be drained when I get Baal/Sara/Aloy next week, so less mora for weapons is always nice! I can finally work on levelling a Harbinger of Dawn for my future Albedo​

For everyone pulling for Raiden/Sara, don't forget to do all the weeklies next Monday/Tuesday before the 2.1 update so you have all your resin available to farm the ascension mats on Wednesday! I only just remembered that I didn't farm Dvalin until today bc I try to split up the four bosses between Monday and Thursday.

I'm honestly thinking of trying for Kokomi now. idc about -100% crits!! I just want another good hydro character and she looks like she'll be long-ranged like Yan Fei. Well, If Scaramouche/Albedo isn't in 2.2, I'm pulling for ha. I only have like four five-stars that I'm 100% rolling for in the next few patches: Baizhu, Scara, Albedo & Ayato. The rest is up in the air!

I do have a Memory of Dust collecting dust on my Ningguang that might be good for Kokomi since she partly scales off attack. Not gonna pull for her weapon after getting scammed on the Mistsplitter banner with those 2/2 fate points though

ooh, true. I just don't wanna waste any resin that I could use for the new electro boss. I have barely any fragile resin left so I'm trying to prioritise. plus, I have like seven dream solvents in my inventory, so I should be good in that aspect. I'm gonna need over 80 mats from that thing to get Sara and Baal to 90. At least I pre-farmed the cryo boss for Aloy last month so I don't need to do anything for her.

I mainly do Dvalin/Boreas for the billets/Dream Solvents. Though I probably have enough boss mats from them now. Plus I always end up getting nice Wanderer's Gladiators pieces from them. Though I don't even need that anymore bc of the Shimenawa 2-piece & the new artifact re-rolling system skdjsjk

I have all the hydro characters, so I'll likely get Kokomi just for my own enjoyment as I don't care that much for the meta. Hell, I triple-crowned Keqing and wasted 90 pulls on the mistsplitter banner to get her a new sword. I think that most meta players would likely call that a waste of investment. If I want a meta Hydro character, I can always go back to playing vape Childe. I just want a long-range hydro missile character (à la Yan Fei) that can proc Beidou/Raiden in a taser comp, and she seems fun enough, plus her design is really nice.

I did some primo calculations and I shall have enough primos by September 20 to guarantee Kkomi!
I'll use my Memory of Dust on her ~
Praying that It'll be a Yae/Ganyu festival for 2.2 so I can roll for Kkomi & skip both banners to save for Albedo!
