I've officially capped out at sereniteapot friendship EXP this morning, which means I'm effectively losing like 300 EXP until Baal arrives since I'm planning on putting her into the teapot to claim all the EXP at once. Hopefully, I don't regret getting capped too much.
My Xingqiu/Chongyun are almost at friendship 10 now ~


I'm not sure who I want to take off my main team when Baal arrives...
Noelle is my new favourite so I'd like to keep her on my team, plus she's a shielder/healer/ore miner and that's really important; meanwhile, Kazuha & Keqing are my heavy hitters even if I'm losing companionship EXP by having them on my team...
Maybe Fischl when she reaches friendship 9 in a few days. I'll just have her passively gain EXP in the teapot instead!

I just have a full blizzard set on him, with random sub-stats. I haven't really had the chance to build him yet, so he just took my cryo Keqing artifacts while he was on my team.
I'll probably start investing in him after I'm finished with Noelle. Ideally, I'd like to do a 2-piece Cryo/2-piece Shimenawa set. Permafreeze Chongyun is really fun!

I only need to do 15 wishes for a guaranteed Baal at soft pity but I want more Sara cons. I'm 2 constellations away from a C6 Xiangling, so that'll be the banner that I C6 her on!

That weapon banner is a trap. I'm not wishing for weapons again until they release something amazing.

It's bc Chongyun shatters with his attacks which removes the cryo buff that you get when enemies are frozen. I think as long as you aren't using him as a main DPS to auto-attack and instead as a cryo field applicator for your other characters to gain cryo infusion (e.g. cryo Keqing or Kaeya) then the 4-piece set is fine, but if Chongus is the main DPS, the 4-piece cryo is probably one of the worst sets to build on him.

Thoma, who was born in Mondstadt, now lives in Inazuma, where he is the Kamisato Clan's housekeeper. He's also a well-known "fixer" in Inazuma.
Perhaps influenced by the relaxed and happy atmosphere of his hometown, Thoma is very good at socializing. Although he is an outlander, he has built an unexpectedly powerful network of people in Inazuma.

He is an affable person by nature and can easily get involved in various topics and establish relationships with various people. When it is time to defend the rights and interests of the Yashiro Commission, he will also put his smile away and show his serious side.

Occasionally, however, Thoma will sit alone in a corner of the Yashiro Commission and think about matters concerning himself.
He is an attentive, friendly, and sociable person who cares for all animals and comrades, but perhaps he also feels some unspeakable homesickness.​

He doesn't have any yet
I just pre-farmed all the local specialties to 176, got all 46 pyro cube mats, plus converted all the pyro crystals that he'll need. I have an R5 Dragons Bane collecting dust while waiting for him.
I have a feeling that his local mats will be with the new islands though (Tsurumi Island maybe?). The one that'll come out during 2.2. I'll be pre-farming his talents mats once someone leaks that soon too. Praying it's not the Light books, I need those for Baal and it took me almost a month to get enough for her...

I spent almost three weeks farming the samurais before I had enough to level Raiden to 90. The struggle is real with those. I've collected all the available Inazuma mats to 178 and I just hope it's not those electro beetles. They're the worst local specialty to farm bc there's so few of them available at any one time on the map.

The best option for me would be for it to be the Ruin Sentinal mats bc I've made it a habit to farm those guys every day. Though knowing Mihoyo it'll probably be something annoying like whopperflower nectar of smth. I still haven't been able to stock up on those yet. It's my least favourite material to farm.

so today I managed to have a 4 set blizzard on chongie and it’s super helpful (maybe because I managed to have his set in all atk?) he is what I use to defeat those annoying samurai dudes please dont give up on blizzard I know the domain is a pain but it’s worth it!!

I finished converting all their crystals today. Now all I need are the local mats

Tomorrow is Baal so I'll have to focus on her for a month. Let's hope Thoma leaks drop soon so I can start farming his common materials!

RIP my Albedo geo hypostasis collection though, I levelled up Noelle this week and lost like half my mats. ​

Hmm so it does seem that both banners in 2.2 will be rerun banners, and I'm guessing it'll be Ganyu and Albedo. If Albedo rerun is actually coming soon, it gives me even more of an incentive to skip Kokomi (not that I was going to be pulling for her anyway)

Just under 36 hours to go until we get 2.1 update and I can finally pull for Baal!

Edit: just a thought but what if the reason they've not revealed any new 5* units yet is because they want people to go all out for Raiden banner only to find out later that say Scaramouche is getting dropped in 2.2?

I've decided to stop at C1 Sara so I can save all through 2.1 for a 50/50 shot at Kokomi. They buffed her ICDs today which gives me even more of an incentive to pull for her. I got a nice HP% hourglass for her today. My hydro supremacy shall continue again ~
If I lose this next 50/50 it'll be three losses in a row. Can I get my 1.4 luck back again where I'm winning 50/50's 3 times in a row. Or better yet, transfer my weapon banner luck to the character banner! Just no more Mona & Keqing dupes...

I'm only set on rolling for three five-stars post-2.1 and one of them is Scaramouche (+ Baizhu & Albedo). I'm interested in Ayato though. If he's a hydro character, then he'll be at the top of my pull-list along with the upcoming dendro units. Mihoyo better give me the time to recover my lost primos after 2.1. I'll probably only have enough for one more character and that's going to Albedo. I need myself a geo 5-star.

Sadly, I shall remain without a cryo DPS character for at least four more months sdjskdj

Yup, patch updates happen at the same time for all servers. Thank you! I'm really hopeful I win the 50/50 but I won't be too bummed out if I lose it since it means I can pull for Xiangling cons until I do get Baal. Though I would be upset if I lose it and get C2 Keqing, or worse, Qiqi. Wouldn't mind getting Jean, Diluc or even C2 Mona.

And that's exactly why I wouldn't be surprised if they do it lol. But I do think it's more likely that there are two re-runs, with Albedo being one of them *fingers crossed*.

I'm interested in Ayato though.

There was some sort of leak on the Genshin Leaks subreddit and his supposed design looks so cool. If that ends up being his actual design, I'd definitely be pulling for him (as long as his kit isn't scuffed)
