His ascension materials come from the Rift Hound which will be a new boss coming in 2.3 but you'll probably have enough time to farm the mats if Ubatcha is right about Albedo's banner being first and Itto (+ Gorou) being second

I guess thoses 49 Perpetual Mechanical Array drops I farmed was legit for nothing
I guess I'll wait for Ayaka re-run or smth skdhjsk

Well at least I have enough Geo crystals for Albedo, Itto & Gorou

I've been saving all my Signora mats for Kokomi & Thoma

Luckily, I have everything aside from the boss mats bc I didn't level Sara past talent lvl 6

New artifact set that's BIS for Kokomi (also a Maiden's Beloved powercreep lol. Like that set couldn't be more worthless):

I remember them doing this for Childe as well. HoD is his BIS but that artifact domain didn't drop until after the patch that Childe was introduced in.

Your Perpetual Mechanical Array drops MIGHT still be useful for Gorou. There's no way it drops Geo (& Cryo) shards and yet won't be compatible with any other unit aside from Ayaka. @Polaris_Tae

It's kind of stingy tbh, esp bc some of these artifacts would actually improve some of the more underwhelming characters. I guess it was good that I ended up with Childe during his second run instead of during his first run

I'm not even running him on HoD anymore sjshdsjkj

I keep getting god-tier cryo pieces (got my 2nd 27%+ CD flower today), while my hydro pieces are non-existent.

He'll be running Shimenawa's for the longest time

Looks like there's no point in me trying to get artifacts for Albedo yet. This set is gonna be great for him. Also on my C6 Noelle that I use occasionally.

Hmm I have pretty decent luck with HoD pieces. Maybe I should hit soft pity (only 10 wishes away) and get Childe. He'd work great with my Xiangling or even in a taser comp now that my Beidou is almost fully built. Plus there's also those speculations about him potentially being killed off in the story..

Yeah it's getting annoying how they keep on adding new bosses when older ones only drop items for 1 or 2 characters.

I hate the current Geo domain. That domain only gives me Bolide pieces and I have zero built shielders so that set is the worst for me.
Meanwhile, both the new artifacts will be good for me
I guess It's talent books & boss drops all month instead. At least that won't be as much of a waste of resin.

Well, I won the 50-50 so I guess I'm gonna need to spend the next week or so just farming his talent books and the Oceanid.

I just spent seven whole minutes chasing after one (1) hydro spectre only for it to heal back to full.
Who the hell decided to put these things over huge ass bodies of water.
I had to use geo traveller as a stepping stone and it still failed...

I thought I was done with these after Kokomi. But Gorou too...
