one of her reasons to quit was that she didn't liked the direction the group was going, she is still part of Wack and is in talks with Watanabe to decide what to do next

I saw the clip of Mameshiba pranking Kuro-chan on twitter and it made my day I still have a hard time believing he actually lives there. I know that allot of people in the Japanese entertainment industry, even really successful ones, live pretty modestly, but this is kind of extreme. Every time they visit Kuro-chan's apartment, it's the same level of messiness. I wonder if he rents it just so he can use it like a set for these segments and leaves it permanently messy to maintain his persona of being disgusting, lol.

So they're called Dogenzaka43. I didn't even think about what they'd call the shuffle unit, but the 48G inspired name doesn't surprise me. It's possible the MV was released too early, so it was set to private again. I've seen this happen with tie-in songs where there's something contractually that prevents it from being online for a period of time. Like you said, they could also be planning something else with it, so we'll have to wait and see. Thanks for the bilibili link!

That's a shame that Yuki has to undergo surgery. It's disappointing the collab has to be rescheduled, but it's understandable under the circumstances. Thankfully it doesn't sound too serious, so I'll be looking forward to what she and WACK release in the Fall.

they teased the release of the single and even worked with Wack affiliated stores to gift Dogenzaka43's CD for free, who knows what happened,

my take is that they are going to save the official release of it for their collab with Yuki Kashiwagi
that way having their own "46/48" group is going to have a bigger impact with the general public

iirc Aya was the first BiS2 member to announce her solo debut but that was almost 2 years ago,
