That would be awesome. I am wondering now, how come WACK haven't tried any gaming tournament between groups? It would be great, especially during the Pandemic too.

while i think is kind of early for an compilation album i'm still hoping that Dead or A lime gets the most votes

I agree hahah. I guess this is Watanabe's way of promoting the group since they exploded around LOOKiE, and having 33 (new) songs written and produced within one year is definitely impressive.

I'm actually surprised the only other group to get a compilation album in WACK is BiSH. I would've thought GP would get one right before they split but who knows

speaking of that, i don't know why saint sex and holy shits stayed as "one and done" units, wack is shit was a bop

I agree hahah. I guess this is Watanabe's way of promoting the group since they exploded around LOOKiE, and having 33 (new) songs written and produced within one year is definitely impressive.

i also wonder why so soon, i think they should have included songs from the previous gens too and for example if they won they would be rerecorded by current BiS
but when it comes to music Wack pretends that BiS2 wasn't even a thing

and we shall see when the tour starts but at least with GTTB and PARADISES there is hope that they are going to keep performing GP songs as usual, i think the groups by themselves still have too few songs for a whole a concert

this is exactly what i was thinking, all the groups channels have enough subscribers to apply for monetization, they could do competitions, playing music, talking or just about anything and made tons of money

for example there are several musicians in Japan that do and they made thousands of dollars daily

Yeah I wish they made more songs for both SAiNT SEX and HOLY SHiTS, both lineups were still pretty good during last years TIF. I'd be surprised if neither one of them are included in the DREAMLIGHTS this year.

I wonder who'll replace Saki though, might just be wishful thinking but considering that Pan practiced the song a few times during her individual evaluation time in Carry of Major, they might actually have a new member (as I hold a fistful of salt) in place of Saki

Absolutely agree. Some remakes of previous songs from both Gen 1 and Gen 2 would've been killer. Considering that BiS1 started with a 4-man it would've been rather easy pickings from the first album to arrange for the current 4. And since most of the members in BiS3 joined because of BiS2, I'm sure they would be pretty happy to perform Gen 2 songs.

Still wishing for the day I hear Neo's Against the Pain since that song meant a lot to her (or Monchan's full BiSBiS even).


Just one more day left til they all perform, and I can't contain my excitement ahhh. Here's hoping my connection is stable during the entirety of the stream (so glad they're not using NicoNico this year, I swear it has the worst buffers even on lower settings).

Especially since he is now probably missing out on an opportunity to showcase different abilities and hobbies that the members have. That would basically bring in a lot of new fans.

In TIF 2018, BiS and GANG PARADE traded a couple songs between each other.

This year, they brought that back!
But instead of just trading songs between two groups, ALL the groups covered at least one song from another group:

EMPiRE - Orchestra
Mameshiba - にんげん
PARADISES - Buttocks Beat! Beat!
CARRY LOOSE - Restart
GO TO THE BEDS - Curtain Call
BiS - 現状間違いなくGO TO THE BEDS
BiSH - YEAH!! and The Wonderful World of WAgg

Acoustic session returns, but instead of it just being Aina, Uru and Neo joins in:

Uru - Orchestra

Ala mode and Like a virgin both make their annual appearance.

ONAGAWACKSTARS reformed as a 6 man group without Saki

HOLY SHiTS is also back with Tsukino added into the roster!

SAiNT SEX is back too with Toggy replacing Saki, which honestly a lot of fans predicted!


At the end of DREAMLIGHTS, Watanabe reveals that WAgg members have a chance to debut into PARADISES

i have yet to watch the performances but everything sounds great, Usagi is my favorite ex GP member and Holy Shits i my favorite sub unit so i think this was a good pick, i'm not surprised about paradises getting new members if i recall Haruna badchin was going to be part of the line up but she left before their debut
there is a lot to digest but i'm just going to say that i am really happy about seeing carry loose again

Yep! It was suppose to be a 5 man group (with the addition of Kira May after the audition) but Haruna up and left, sad.

I've heard the agencies are cracking down on this years TIF uploads since it's a paid region free livestream (also surprisingly a lot of English comments during the livestream), and according to Carry of Major comments a lot of them are reporting the uploads. I'm just glad the streamsite has an archive for the next couple days so I could check out missed stuff, or just keep replaying Dockson's part lolol.

Yeahhh, they used to not really care pre-Covid but I think it hit WACK pretty hard with them refunding basically hundreds of thousands for their tickets for every one of their groups. Watanabe actually did mention not to reupload any of the recent performances during their Revenge live in August, since otherwise the performances would be livestreamed partially free on Niconico if there were an actual live audience.

That's why the FUCKIN'REVENGE live is basically nonexistant anywhere besides on the day of the performance (secretly wished I screencapped so I could at least watch it again).
BiS live performance during the Nissan 24 Hour stream and CARRY LOOSE's performance for the Super Idol Festival around the end of August were also removed. So, I'm betting that the next BiS and EMPiRE live won't be anywhere as well :/

That's one good thing about WACK though, while they aren't free at least their online tickets are all region free (except for SCHOOL OF WACK streams after the first day ). Both BiS' and EMPiRE's upcoming lives are too which is exciting!

The funniest part in BiS' performance was that around the last chorus of I WANT TO DIE!!!!!, I think it's around 11:45 in the linked video, there was this loud wind whooshing (like a DJ hyping up for a drop) and every one in the live chat was like "！！？". Suspicions raised on Watanabe since he stands in the sound control booth hahah.

i really, really, love EMPiRE's version of Orchestra, that's something i definitely needed in my life
