now i remember how Jun Inagawa pissed everyone with his "artwork"


anyway, i keep getting surprised by Watanabe's good relationships with people in the scene,
he acts like a huge asshole in public but it seems he is a cool dude in his private life

he acts like an asshole in public but then he cant take when people shit on him for it
like if you're presona is gonna be an unlikeable guy in public at least commit to the act and not act like a child when people react the way they're suppose to

Oof yeah, he's definitely less lazy now like in the BiS3 first album debut and the CURTAiN CALL coverart where at least the girls are fairly recognisable.

Compared to early last year's designs LOL.

he acts like a huge asshole in public but it seems he is a cool dude in his private life

I mean it's been his persona since pre-WACK all the way to when OG BiS started so it probably just stuck to him til now, he's definitely not an asshole to people or fans when they actually tweet/talk to him normally (and not just shit/take it personal on him behind the keyboard). Considering that he's friends with high profile peeps like HISASHI, SUGIZO, MIYAVI, Dragon Ash members etc, it'd be a surprise if he's a proper arse IRL.

Plus, the group that met him and hung out/drank with Watanabe in the UK when he visited were hella lucky, and they all said he's super chill and genuine af that he definitely just loves trolling the hell out of people and be very vocal on SNS as usual. If anything, I like that he usually replies to you on Instagram/Twitter if you tag him on a story or something.

Just like how Kurochan's character is a pure dumbo pervert when he's in character, though I don't remember if he ever broke character besides small moments during tsukomi/boke in Wednesday Downtown.

Meh, I don't follow nor care enough for some of the "criticisms" that he replies to so I don't really fantasise about them and analyse his online persona as much.
Maybe I worded it wrongly, his "perceived persona" is that he's an asshole online, and not that his whole SNS is just him treating others shittily. Which is obvious when you see him, albeit rarely, sharing & replying quite fondly to a lot of the local or even overseas fans. But again, he has his right to fire back at rude (or the ones that think they know the inside and outs of WACK's company ladder) comments which I can't blame him for, though he should stick to staying sober when replying lol.

It's a very common complaint about Inagawa's art, it's especially apparent laziness in half of his stuff. Plus his love of oversexualising the girls as well, which just makes everything weird as fuck. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

well i'm glad he improved, his previous work was pretty meh

one of the (many) reasons people got mad at him was because he was needlessly offensive to the members, for example one of the postcards he drew was of Coco having sex with a fan (she didn't know about it until she visited the store)
