It is a 2019 chart so anything from a group that is doing numbers in this year should be counted. For example, when a company is counting album sales in a year, they count not only the 2019 releases but everything in general because each sale counts that year.

You talk about album sales but it's the same thing there no? Surely if Group A's '1' album sells 500 copies in 2018 but their '2' album only sells 250 copies in 2019 you as a company surely take that as Group A performing worse in 2019 than in 2018 regardless if '1' sells a few copies in 2019 to boost the overall number. Which makes the numbers for 2019 much more relevant then previous years, because no one wants to live in the past. Just my look on it and what i think is more logical.

If an album sells 250 copies in December and then 250 in January the next year, it'd be silly to not count it just because it released the last calender year. Sales are sales.

Anyways, I'm curious on where Red Velvet is gonna end up. I still think their position is the most changeable.

FYI OP.

Itzy should be - 710,231,079
Dalla Dalla - 636,022,715
Icy - 74,208,364

BLACKPINK should be - 1,021,404,663
Kill This Love - 424,941,305
Don't Know What To Do - 127,836,120
Kick It - 19,448,776
Hope Not - 14,969,728
DDU-DU-DDU-DU - 259,170,071
Forever Young - 140,579,234
As If It's Your Last - 34,459,429

Edit:
I'd like to ask OP how you count pre-2019 songs. Been doing some research and it seems that you've been counting numbers in a way to either inflate them or lower them. For example i don't like how you count weeks that overlap months, for example 2019.07.29 ~ 2019.08.03. I think you should wait to count pre-2019 songs from the weekly chart until they're in the monthly chart and if they don't appear in the month chart just don't count the overlapping weak into month because that will just be misleading since we don't know what days are counted in that week.

In this example i'll be using TWICE but it also applies to other groups on the list: The best example would be that you have 6 songs counted for TWICE but one of the songs you counted are 'Best Thing I Ever Ever Did' and the problem with counting that song is that it overlaps from December 2018 to January 2019 (2018.12.30 ~ 2019.01.05) with 2 days of 2018 counted and only 3 for 2019. In my opinion whenever this happens(like i mentioned with months overlapping) you shouldn't count them since the numbers will be misleading. Which is why i'll say my arguement again that ONLY counting 2019 releases is much relevant and reliable then counting pre-2019 + 2019 releases.

If we were to go by the most reliable numbers by looking at the montly charts, skipping weeks that overlaps(until we get a montly chart like the 2019.07.29. ~ 2019-08.03) but still counting the weeks after as following 2019.08.04 ~2019.08.10 & 2019.08.11 ~2019.08.17. since we know those numbers are from August 100%. And ignore songs that are on the weekly chart from 2018.12.30 ~2019.01.05(like Twice's 'Best Thing I Ever Did') the correct and most reliable number for TWICE would be:
Overall - 1,257,683,135
Fancy - 401,772,975
Yes Or Yes - 439,958,657
Dance The Night Away - 283,673,741
What Is Love? - 103,375,948
Heart Shaker - 28,901,814

To make it clear i'm trying to discredit OPs work and i'm aware that the method i'm talking about would just slightly change the numbers either up or down but it's more about having the correct numbers instead of non-correct ones.

I am using gaon's 2019 weekly chart, which he uses as the first week of this year this http://www.gaonchart.co.kr/main/sec...n=ALL&targetTime=01&hitYear=2019&termGbn=week

I collect the information week by week, using no monthly update. At the end of the year I will use the yearly chart and the necessary combination of monthly and weekly for songs outside the top 200, for now only weekly chart.

Okay i see, well regardless you should still make the corrections i mentioned:

Itzy - 710,231,079
Blackpink - 1,021,404,663
Both of these are legit, you can double check Itzy's total score since Gaon changed the points for Dalla Dalla.
For Blackpink just check Forever Young and DDDD's monthly score in July and add it to the half year score. Check January & February monthly for AIIYL + the 2019.03.03 ~2019.03.09 week for the last accurate AIIYL points.

I will check the weekly points for Dalla Dalla and later for BP. The last accurate AIIYL points are in the week 23 not in march. Thanks for the feedback :peepopbirthday:

I'll update it for you guys. My numbers are not exactly the same as Elessar's for some reason, but you should get the picture.

This is every girl group that has charted in the Gaon Digital Index Top 200 weekly chart this year. As I said before, it doesn't have to be a Top 10 list because there are only 14 eligible girl groups anyway.

Even as a fan, OMG has far exceeded my expectations! They easily surpassed MMLD with songs released as recently as May and August. Won't be for long though, next week, they are likely taking 9th place from Apink. I hope their Queendom single performs well too! I still hope they gain more attention internationally as they did in Korea.
