The wildcarders have won it.
1. Please propose your wildcard badges for the respective members. I'll give a timeframe of 24 hours for wildcard options to be submitted. So deadline is 2200 KST July 27th.
2. Again, it's "1, max 2" wildcards. If you have more than 2, y'all need to pick the top 2 to submit.
3. I'll need @B612 to pre-approve all the wildcard badges before we proceed with the vote.
4. Please try to adhere to the awards guidelines to avoid getting your badges rejected by the Admins. Also, please have a link to the HD source ready as we will need to submit those for approval as well.
Current wildcard badges being proposed (pending approval from @B612):

- No fantaken images - To protect the content creators rights as well as ourselves fantaken images are not allowed to be used as badges.
- Use HQ pictures - For quality purposes, the higher quality the better an image will look as a badge.
- No heavily edited images - The more edited the worse the quality becomes overall.
- No extreme contrast, highlighted colours, or super light/dark images - They just don't look good when sized down.
- Face should be centered - For aesthetic purposes.
- Logos should only be used for groups and are not allowed for individuals in most cases - We understand some artists are very difficult to find pictures of and will deal with that on a case by case basis.
- Only screenshots from Music Videos, CFs and official content are allowed - If you're unsure what falls under this rule please don't hesitate to ask on our ask thread.
- Profiles can be used as well as some object cover is allowed - Face coverage isn't totally ruled out but the more you can see of the artist the better. Profiles are OK if we can clearly tell who the artist is.
- Derp Faces/Exaggerated facial expressions/Unrecognisable - These will not be allowed, badges are not to be meme like or something that is out of the ordinary/unpleasant such as frowning, crying, etc. We will also not be allowing badges that look weird and in which people look unrecognisable regardless of it being an official picture.
- Zooms - Any mocks found to be too zoomed in or zoomed out will need to be readjusted, as all badges must be able to resized down to 74x74 properly . In the event a mock does not pass crop standards, it will need to be readjusted until our quality standards are met.
- Pre-approval of badges - We ask that all OP’s submit their round 1 mocks for pre-approval of by an Awards member in the appropriate thread (Link). This is to avoid badges of lower quality, bad lighting, etc, from making it to later rounds and dividing votes from other badges. That being said we still reserve the right to veto any badge that we feel does not follow the rules by the final crop (this is especially relevant in crop rounds).
- Final submission - The Awards team reserve the right to re-do a mock if we feel they are not in accordance to all the aforementioned rules.

If a wildcard is suggested for a member, then there will be a runoff vote between that member's winning badge and the wildcard badge(s). Whichever wins at that point becomes the final winning badge.
The whole point of the wildcard round is to add badges for new / recent images that weren't available during the initial voting rounds. The only exception from the current proposed badges is Tzuyu's, as that may have been missed during the initial batch selection. These badges are from an earlier image set, and should have been proposed during the initial voting rounds.Mina one is heavily photoshopped in the eyes... so thats a NO

Sigh...I'm not singling you out, but this is a general statement to everyone - I think everyone was given plenty of time to propose badges in the earlier rounds, so I think it would be unfair to bring up badges from old photosets that should have been proposed earlier. If you are going to propose wildcard badges, please do so from the recently released media images i.e. Nayeon's magazine shoot, their Acuvue ads, or the BT/ Aube images.
Also, whatever the results of the wildcard votes end up being will be final. Even if better images suddenly show up after the polling has started, we will stick to the outcome of the polls.
i just saw the wild card entry for Mina and thought it was awful, so i suggested it... I hope others find it awful as well so that original badge wins

I don't think an old photoshoot would win against office Mina tbh. People prefer newer photos that's all!
I dont mind Office Mina one, i hope it wins. That wild card entry looks awful

Not yet. But you'll need @B612 to edit out those lines. The second image will probably not pass because even though the image is large, it's not very sharp - dropping the image size down to 100px square, you can see the image quality is quite poor. To be honest, the first image isn't very HQ either.
Sigh. Since we are opening a wildcard round, I’ll still suggest the acuvue bagdes I liked.
