Parasite (2019):
The directing, the acting, the photography, the tone and tension of the movie were all on goddamn point. This offered twist after twist in a good way, but also in a way that doesn't hold up much to scrutiny once you start looking at it, but overall it was still a hella good movie!

Booksmart (2019):
A funny comedy about two hard-working girls obsessed with school. It was funny, heart-warming, fluffy and just overall good. I had a hella good moment.

Booksmart. I think I'm probably past the age of enjoying this type of films because I wasn't digging it as much as I thought I would. Most of the characters, except for the 2 leads, felt like a caricature and not actual people. The pace was all over the place and at times, so was the soundtrack (I had 'Suicide Squad' war flahbacks); the humor was okay tho and I liked Wilde's direction for the most part, but this movie is definitely not that special.
