two kinda random thoughts
1. ik Park Sieun just left but do you think we'll see Kim Sieun again soon? I really loved her Yes or Yes performance and I feel like ppl don't talk about her much-
2. Although it has 0% chance of happening I sometimes imagine Lily debuting as the main vocalist in a jyp girlband I just think her voice would rly suit a Paramore/Day6 type of sound and I can kinda picture a world where Hayul and Lily debuted like that w some hidden members and Haewon was saved as the main vocalist for the ngg

Honestly I’d say all of them are high contenders. They’re all really pretty and talented plus the next group will probably be bigger which means more spots for trainees to take up. I don’t think many will agree with me but I like the idea of them being a smaller group, 4 members similar to Miss A. I’d go with Haewon, Hayul, Rima & Jiayu if it was 4

They even look good together!

So digging a little deeper into the article. They're saying Sieun still just signed a trainee contract. Highup says they are working on a girl group as well. If Black Eyed Pilseung is going to be composing a lot of their tracks they could make some noise in a competitive market.

I really think they won’t be like either groups miss a or twice or itzy for sure itzy so far all jyp groups have been different BUT I do think they will take another group type of “style” but also be different

Lia legit doesn’t even sound how she sounds now during predebut during predebut her voice was more r&b type and now she barely can sing itzy songs right(love her) but I mean it’s not always about voices and things can change

I've been thinking... I see a lot of of people saying that part of the reason the ngg should follow the twice-model is bc SMNGG is gonna be pushed as the next nations girl group w 7+ member and cuter concept but wouldn't be a smarter move for JYP to do something completely different w his girls (like the example 4 membered group) and appeal to a separate market rather than compete with SM using the same model? I suppose he'd still have Itzy to be the f(x) to the ngg's snsd but I still think it's weird when ppl bring up SMNGG bc the big three have never put out rly similar groups at the same time-

JYPNGG should follow an IZONE-type concept especially now that they sold so much physically and gain a huge number of fans upon debut. IZONE will disband the latest April 2021 if not earlier. Therefore JYPNGG should fill the VOID that will be left out by IZONE and gather those fans especially Koreans and Japanese.

Ahhh ok but I think she hasn’t been in jyp all this time or not debut in a girl group tho and like I said lia voice wasn’t really fit for itzy type of songs predebut but she debuted with them and I really think the group should have a strong vocalist like lily for this next gg

JYPNGG will not be competing with SMNGG but likely with BHNGG and YGNGG, if there will be one. SMNGG is the one who has to worry competing with FAST-RISING ITZY and Twice.

Everyone is expecting BHNGG as a strong competitor because they may carry the BTS-PRIVILEGE. But Bighit must prove that their NGG can be huge like BTS other than that JYP will not worry of anything else.

- They are a well known composing team in Korea. This year they did Gotta Go for Chungha and Fancy for Twice. In the past, they composed for Twice Like Ooh Ahh, Cheer Up, TT, Likey.
