TWICELIGHTS Update
So they're at USD10.6M, with Newark still unreported. If we assume the same average for the 15 arena Twicelights JP concerts, that should bring them up around USD30M. The 2-day tour closing Tokyo Dome concerts, based on Dreamday, should bring in about USD9.1M, for a Twicelights tour total of about USD40M. Add that to Dreamday, and Twice would have raked in close to USD60M in concert revenue in a 12 month period. I guess the only way to top that next year is to expand on the JP Dome Tour, and a world tour with a few Euro concerts.
In other news, Fancy is now at 30 weeks on Melon, as I predicted (or rather, hoped for) a few months back. Looks like it might be able to hang on for another couple of weeks. If it can hang on until the award shows, it might even get a boost from all of the gayo stages.

I can't speak for others, but I'm not really voting for MMA cause I don't think they will attend and I'm annoyed at some nomination snubs (imo). Instead focusing on MAMA voting❤.Tbh, I'm not sure what to expect. Above 300K, most likely. But possibly not much more i.e. we might not break any Oricon records. &Twice will be the fourth JP release this year. They had a dome tour earlier in the year, Tuwaii merch, and now Twicelights JP, with the tour ending at Tokyo Dome which I'm sure many will try to attend. When you consider all this, plus the concert merch, plus them buying KR albums as well...it's a lot of spending for J-Onces this year, and I'm not sure their wallets / purses are bottomless.
As for YOY and its 170K on Oricon, one possible reason may be have been their standout stage on MAMA JP , since the last 2 weeks of December saw a very significant sales bump (20K+ bump in Oricon sales). Having said that, a number of their other albums like BDZ, TTG and TCL1 and 2 also saw bumps in sales during the last few weeks of December over the years, so it could also be J-Onces buying albums for themselves for Christmas, or getting gifted those albums. It's probably a combination of all those factors. Still, YOY's 170K Oricon sales does sticks out. It will be interesting to see if FS will also get a bump in Oricon sales post MAMA and the weeks leading up to Christmas.
As for Melon, I think I- and K-Onces have given up on them. Usually, around this time, there will be plenty of Once accounts tweeting instructions to I-Onces on how to bypass voting restrictions and vote for MMA. I haven't seen any this year.
Factoring in merch sales would probably double that amount especially since we know they sometimes gain more from merch than tickets in Japana Twicelights tour total of about USD40M. Add that to Dreamday, and Twice would have raked in close to USD60M in concert revenue in a 12 month period.

Yeah, there's concert merch sale, plus Tuwaii and now the season's greeting merch as well. So USD120M in non-music revenue is pretty incredible, especially since the margins are likely way better than for their physical/digital music sales. The only thing we haven't calculated for right now are the CF and modeling / photoshoot fees. Looking forward to seeing JYPE's FY2019 Annual Report to try and break down those revenue streams.Factoring in merch sales would probably double that amount especially since we know they sometimes gain more from merch than tickets in Japan

Looks like this maybe sort of in line - semi-expected though because as you said they buy so much during the year, just feels a full album should be a centerpiece
80,563 and the album is $45 in average price, so around $3.8M in average earnings in 1 day... amazing! That's almost like a dome concert level.

Yeah maybe. The average price is up a bit and currently I think they are still taking applications for the newest shows in Japan so I think people are being a bit more frugal and tight on the wallets.Ngl their 2nd and 3rd day really low.. is this bad marketing bcs too expensive bcs the album is including their arena tour dvd?

In my opinion JYPE and Warner are being completely unfair right now and taking liberties with &Twice. The card drops are apparently worse than ever and the A edition for BDZ was around 52 Dollars but the A edition for &Twice is 78 Dollars without promo or discounts. Which is quite frankly a joke to me, I mean were coming into the holiday season and money is tight for people this time of the year so to be asking for that price for the best version and still having borked card drops is kinda shady.
As for Platinum? Yeah it will go Plat for sure. It might take a couple weeks or more but I mean were on 3 days on only Oricon and already over 100K and it passed that mark on the first day on BBJP so I'm confident the sales will reach about 220-250 on Oricon by the end of the year and likely 250+ on BB by some time in December.

You can see them on the first page of this thread
Their compilation album earlier this year got 200k in its first week but I assume priced lower as it was just their Korean songs in Japanese

As I mentioned before, there are a lot of things competing for J-Once's Yen right now, (this year as whole, actually) including both the normal twicelights as well as the dome tour finale. If I was on a limited budget, I'd prioritize the concerts, since albums can always be bought later. I'm not worried about overall sales - fans will eventually buy older albums when they are able to. It's just going to take a lot longer to hit platinum. That might not be good for fans who are fixated on records and such, but it's hard to point to lower sales as some kind of decline when they've sold out their arena concerts in Japan. Also, based on previous sales numbers, there's usually a bump in sales during the last few weeks of December.

Are they still taking accepting applications for their JP concerts? It was stated in an article they have 1 Million applications. How is the ticket selling for their 2-day Tokyo Dome?

According to BB Japan, the arena concerts are sold out. Haven't found any news about the dome ticket sales though. It's been almost a month since ticket sales opened, but they have another 3 months to sell 100K seats. Are they still taking accepting applications for their JP concerts? I'm a ticket board member and I get still updates about the applications for the Tokyo Dome additional dates, which as Whisky rightly pointed out is competing for Once money in Japan right now. The application for the domes is currently ongoing and coinciding with the albums release which is obviously not helping anyone. Are they still taking accepting applications for their JP concerts? JYP & SM stan. SR20G JYP20G enthusiastTbh those Awards shows (especially MAMA) are useless. They gave Best nee female artist to IZONE in 2018, and ITZY didn’t got nominated for SOTY even though their Debut and comeback song (DALLA DALLA & ICY) are in the top 5 best GG songs.
