Well, we know there WILL be a repackage/reissue/special.

The BDZ repackage had the addition of Be As One, but that was already released as a digital single a few months earlier. It's possible that they only released BAO earlier since it was the theme song for a JP TV drama, and that this year's song wasn't picked up by anyone else. Having said that....well, I'd like to say that all their repackage/reissues had new content, and most did, but we did get also TCL1 Christmas Version, which was a reissue with no new songs. We will know soon enough.

Looking like &TWICE is going to be the lowest selling album TWICE has released since TSB at this rate. Not bad. It's our first dent but we can handle it. I was hoping that FS would get 10K+ units moved for November but its only 4K. Still amazing. If there is a repackage for &TWICE it should probably hit 200,000 ~ 225,000 overall on Oricon.

It will get there soon enough. Sales should pick up the last few weeks of December, and it will pick up even more if/when they release the special/repack.

Actually didn't notice that Fake and True didn't chart that well as a song.

Did Polish end up charting better? Remember reading something about it being number one for a while on a Japanese platform

Nah, it only charted #1 on Line, which is smaller than apple music or recochoku, but for some reason kpop fans give more attention to Line music, even tho it's smaller lol. Polish charted for one week on billboard japan streaming chart at around #65 place and it was gone next week.

the song is not that bad tho?? I like it more than BDZ, It seems the concept shift not doing well for them or maybe j once already exhausted too many releases and didnt have enough money? Still cant believe they are not getting platinum this time.

TWICE sold 1.14 million Korean physical albums this year....?
FS was 400k+
FY was 390k
=790k

Then all 350k was from previous albums. That's sick. Could they really sell 350k from their old albums?

Their old album sales are pretty much the equivalent of a full comeback. I noticed it last year as well.

Yeah they went too greedy. all concert tickets still soldout fast they even add tokyo dome so there is no sign j once fandom decreased or leaving.

Maybe mina situation play a role too? Cant help tho, health is most important.

Imo it is 90% price (yeah, only one version was expensive but it was the A version, so everyone probably wanted to get that one) and 10% content. Fake And True was a nice song for a B side but it was no A side for sure.

Yall do know the normal version of the album only cost 30. Just as much as the past albums. The exclusive version which doesnt even account for more than 10% of the sales is expensive as hell. The pricing is almost exactly the same as their previous albums. Then limited editions for BDZ and the #TWICE series are all 40 - 60 dollars but the normal most common version is around the 30 dollar price range. Just like &TWICE.

I dont know how y'all think the album cost 90. I think maybe to hide the low sales some Once mustve posted a misleading Tweet or something to cover the fact that no one is buying the album as much.

But the album normal version the most bought version is 30 dollars. The limited exclusive editions are around 40 - 70 price range.

As you can see the #TWICE Series are cheaper but only by 6 dollars. That is it. Six. Not even ten or pass that. BDZ is cheaper but only by 55 cents. The normal Regular Editions are what account for most of the sales. &TWICE isn't flopping because its too expensive. There have been albums with the Regular Edition costing 50 bucks selling extremely well. No it's because the amount of content that was released this year plus the TWICELIGHTS tickets and then they announced an upcoming DOME DATE. Then the whole issue with photo cards and pissing J-Onces off. These all caused J-Onces to be conservative with their spending. The way JYP milked the TWICELIGHTS Japan dates for no reason only to announce a Dome while the tour in Japan is ongoing? That is too much. Our fandom isn't as rich or large as someone like BTS, ARASHI, AKB we don't have that kind of power so jYPE and Warner tried it. Hopefully if they don't want another drop in album sales they'd realize not to overmilk the fandom and learn from this. Hey, maybe they didn't care how well &TWICE Sold and and just are going with it.

I go with what the fans on twitter say, it is true. I don't live in Japan and don't have first hand information, so thanks for saying.

Regarding content, it is not just Twice content that is the issue. Unlike Korean fans who treat the whole thing as a sports league, Japanese fans are more "hoe"ish. Half of them bitches on my twitter went to Blackpink concert, Blackpink out of all. It is all peacefull there. And there are bunch of BTSxTwice, SeventeenxTwice fangirls I constantly see. So I am not sure if reducing Twice's content will help pockets of J Onces to spend more on Twice.
