Well that didn't last lmao :TzuyuKek: Im gonna go ahead and say that I called it already... it was so fking obvious that she didn't give a damn about AKB48 and AKS are the most stupid company ever for even giving her a center position.

Also now I hope AKS will finally turn to girls that gave everything to this group and actually really care for its future.
And yes y'all can hate me all you want for being like this today I don't care. :fab:

Lots of things tbh... but I will just say that she didn't appear in a theater stage for a whole year now (last one was the 13th anniversary stage in december and her last real stage was in November) , even if she was busy with studies it doesn't explain going a whole year without appearing once..... Peak Maeda Atsuko still had the time to appear way more than that. Team K has to take kenkyuuseis from other teams to be able to perform a full stage nowadays .....

Depends on what AKS wants right now . If they want immediate result then the Theather Goddess Yuiri is probably the most popular AKB48 member right now (not counting Yukirin ofc) then we have safe bets like Naachan and Yuiyui. Then if they want to bet on the future and push new/younger members all teams have great new gen aces like Team 4 with the perfect Naamin/Zukky duo (my favs) that always looks great in Wcenter , Team A with Erii/Rei , Manaka/Kururun , Team K has Kobayashi Ran/Okarina , Team B with Kubo Satone and young Hiwatan. I kind of want AKS to push multiple girls this time and not put everything on only one member , because we saw how well this ended for them in recent years. Hope they learn their lesson this time...

STU48 has the handshake monster that is Ishida Chiho too that can't be ignored. I don't think AKS will turn to SKE anymore and HKT48 doesn't have much to show off tbh. NMB48 has some great new gens but I find it hard for them to get a look in from management.

Well, there goes AKB's most promising member.
I'm surprised as she seemed like a very ambitious person, and now she's leaving when she's reaching a top position in the group. Maybe the hate and pressure became too much for her. She went from complete unknown to top handshake seller and most talked-about member to a dating scandal and center and then graduation in just 2 years, it must have been difficult to handle at a young age.

In her graduation message she apologized for not being able to attend group activities and disappointing fans. I know some, like Wazir for instance, think she's doing it all for herself and doesn't care about the group and I could understand that, but this graduation doesn't really fit into that narrative.

I'm actually surprised about Moeka graduation. I see her ambition so I thought she would stay in the group more, but I can this as a move to further her career in other direction, wherever that may be (acting, variety shows, etc).

Cherprang is like the 2-3 greatest star in all of 48 groups so I'm really interested to see what CGM48 can bring :wherearethelies:

it seems people have two way of thinking about this, either she doesn't care about akb and is ungrateful or the hate was too hard to bear. i don't know her but according to sashi tweet, Moeka is a fragile girl and mentally weak. so prob the scandal coupled with people hating her bc the center position/not going to theater/people calling her fat etc... took a tool on her.
and is true she didn't pay her dues in akb but let's blame aks for this and not Moeka, afterall they make the decisions.

Yeah, it's not like she planned to become the most talked-about AKB member at the age of 15. Based on Sasshi's tweet and comments on S48 it seems like this was far from something she wanted and that she'll quit entertainment to focus on her studies, just like her sister. I think it's the best for her personally too, as she won't have to suffer from some of the negative effects of being a rising star in AKB (pressure, hate, packed schedule, no private life, creepy fans etc).

As for AKS it's back to the drawing board but I sort of understand her being pushed considering how well she was selling. Her getting into senbatsu was inevitable but they seem to have overdone it.

i've been on s48 and people there hates her guts, esp after the scandal. i read she wanted to do a second solo concert, so i don't understand why people are saying she wanted to focus on her studies. she never say that. or that akb wasn't her priority, that jus an assumption made by people who don't like her.
how aks 2.0 works is the root of the problem, and is like that since they took control of akb.
they want the next acchan, a face for the group, but failing miserably bc the girls they choose aren't interessed in being that, too much stress, too much work, too much hate and no matter how many times girls end up on hiatus or in hospital bc of mental breakdown or physical problems, they still commit the same mistake with the next it-girl.
and let's not forget how they handle scandals and whatnot, which i'm sure it's one of the cause of Moeka graduating.

She could've chosen to prove the haters wrong, yet she decided to prove them right.

I hope a good luck to her future plan!
