Chittiiichichiichiichii's first interview!

• she came out with the stage name Chichi (a reference to Chittiii) Watanabe then decided to add 4 more "Chi" to her name
• she watched the 2020 and 2021 audition camp, in the later she wondered "what if i applied?"
• she discovered WACK thanks to BiSH (just like everyone!), she became interested because Aina was going to appear in "Wednesday downtown", this was around the time of MONSTER IDOL
• she watched MAMESHIBA NO TAiGUN on Wednesday Downtown and became a fan of Hanaemonster
• during the audition she applied to join either BiS or ASP
• her mom was against her joining ASP
• lately she has become able to tell the WONDER and MATiLDER twins apart

last week i saw these pictures of GANG PARADE



and i didn't thought much, i thought they were chocolate or something like that
but turns out those red things are actually male sex toys

along the video they announced the movie "BiSH presents PCR is PAiPAi CHiNCHiN ROCK'N'ROLL", the BiSH members are going to team up with a director and seems they are going to release a short movie each

i'm surprised by how similar their art styles are, i mean they are still basic "stick man" drawings but i would have problems telling who drew what

well here it is, SPY's debut

the song is fine, i do find it interesting how the song could easily pass as a MAMESHiBA release, it feels like something they would release

also is a little weird for WACK to release a cute and colorful song without having some plot twist

• the recording of the video took 2 hours
• Maika Takeda (AKB's choreographer) was in charge of SPY's choreography
• Atsuko and Dockson were paired together during the MV because the director thought they have similar styles (min 2:12 to 2:30)

SPY are also going to release a cover of AKB48's "Oogoe Diamond"

there is also "Innocent ass", their sister unit that is composed of members that ranked below the top 20 of the WACK SELECT 7

their debut song "EVERYONE is GOOD and BAD" is going to be included as a B side in SPY's debut single

last year the GANG PARADE members of SPY (when they were still called GO TO THE BEDS) released a single making fun of this type of concept

and a year later here they are, with the exception of COCO all the others ended as members of SPY

i wouldn't be surprised if that ended being a factor in getting voted into the group!

i really like MiKiNA's current hairstyle!



lately this specific style has become kinda popular within WACK, other members of the company have similar styles right now, looks nice

last year the popular one was the french bob so i guess this is 2022's style

MiDORiKO's looks good too



now that i think about it, lately the members of EMPiRE have been changing their styles so they are very likely to announce a new single soon

and since everyone but YU-Ki has changed their style i would like to see the later with short hair

not surprised, that "mamemamemame mame mamema" is so catchy

MAMESHiBA's songs age like wine, i recall i used to wonder if this weird style of pop would hold up but so far even SPY's similar concept is not quite there

you know what is pretty weird? there are basically no interactions between both groups, GANG PARADE disbanded just a few months after MAMESHiBA's debut so they never got the chance, maybe is going to be different for the new GP

now that i remember i was supposed to do a post about this back in February but i forgot

here a mini version of it

back in early 2020 MAMESHiBA was still enjoying the success of their debut single "Restart" which became a hit in the Japanese charts but just a few weeks after it's release Watanabe suddenly did a 180 and completely changed their style to be dark and edgy, this was met with backlash from several fans

because of the divided opinions not only from the fans but also the staff the only way they found out to answer the question of which concept was right for the rookie group was a competition between Watanabe and Kuro chan, Watanabe wanted a darker more serious image while Kuro wanted a cute and colorful group, to decide the future of the group they wrote a song each, both would get a music video on their own and the single that managed to bring the most views in a single month would be the winner

there was Kuro's song "Rocket Start", a really cute and fun song




and Watanabe's "Daijoubu Sunrise", which was darker but held a similar appeal to BiSH's most serious side




Rocket Start ended winning which to be honest is not a surprise, personally i liked Watanabe's song better but i'm glad it didn't win

although none of that matters because they didn't follow the winning concept anyway

the single was released 2 months ago but this week sold another 1k copies, total must be around 30k

BiS announced their 4th major single, out on July 6

the title hasn't been decided yet and for now there are no concept pictures either



the big question is if toggy is going to participate in the single, she is on an indefinite hiatus due to a stress fracture, although she may be fine by then

this time there wasn't anything too weird (other than Aika's prank to Kaede)

also i wonder about the plushie, i know they have them during a recent pic but i don't recall it being EMPiRE's merchandise
