reminder that EMPiRE's final concert is going to be live streamed on their Youtube channel on June the 2nd, Japan time
the previous page got filled really quickly so i'm reposting this too
on May 30, EMPiRE announced their sudden disbanding, no explanation has been given as to why but the members and staff promised to release an statement at a future date
during all previous WACK groups disbanding announcements the members were allowed to share their thoughts with fans even before the actual disbanding happened, i wonder what event was so big and impactful that lead them to decide they have to disband immediately
there aren't any new updates from the group of the individual members, is sad but for now we can't do much more other than wait

today is MAHO's birthday but they are still quiet, seems they and other members of WACK aren't allowed to talk or interact with EMPiRE...
i wonder what happened, is hard to try not thinking about it, i've been following them since 2017, that's half a decade, i'm to invested in them as to just go on about my day, i wonder if something serious happened? i guess is not worth to ruminate about it since in less than 48 we are going to have an answer

i was checking on the previous disbanding announcements and this is the only one were they are being suspiciously secretive
the members are still quiet but the EMPiRE account came back to post a tweet about a future blu ray release of their final concert
although because everything is being done on a rush there aren't any pictures or meaningful info about it, as a matter of fact is not going to be release until August

EMPiRE's final concert is going to be streamed in about 15 hours, probably i'm going to regret ruining my sleep schedule but is worth it for EMPiRE, i'm going to be around this thread when it starts, hopefully we get some good news

while EMPiRE is no more they announced a successor group "ExWHYZ"!
they are going to debut later this year under EMI records and with the same members, they are still part of WACK
EMPiRE was a joint project between WACK and avex, since the later owns half of the brand they weren't allowed to take the name to a new label, since they moved to EMI they needed to become a new group
we are going to get more info soon!

there shouldn't be any issue with their discography, Scramble / Kenta were the ones making the music while Watanabe and the members wrote the lyrics, so even if they aren't EMPiRE anymore they still own the songs, although is going to be a little awkward having so many songs with "EMPiRE" as titles or lyrics

when EMPiRE were unveiled in 2017 they only were allowed to appear with masks on, Watanabe put a goal that the members were allowed to do a face reveal when they individually reached 10,000, some fans wanted confirm if one of the members was a child (YUiNA, but turns out she was just super short) so they bought her 50,000 followers
Watanabe was furious and double the goal for all the members and threatened to doubled again each time they keep trying to cheat
also i noticed all of them changed their names to lowercase

i mean isn't unthinkable for BiSH to pull a 1 year+ long prank, although i'm less optimistic about them
for now i don't think we are going to get many news of ExWHYZ until they finish their last tour as EMPiRE, their debut is probably going to be around September / October
they took down the video of the concert right after the stream ended but i found a backup

she hasn't been part of the group since 2018 but is nice she was there
unfortunately YUKA couldn't assist, she was probably somewhere flipping off the finger to random Australian families (i always found that WTF? but that was one of the last stories she shared)
that or maybe she was there but keep quiet

BiS unveiled the cover and art for their 4th single "Hey Boy Hey Girl"
that btw wasn't a mistake or anything like that, the cover is a black picture
well there is more to the story, it was done with one of those thermal dyes that changes color when is heat up, so until someones gets one and put it in their microwave the cover is going to keep being a mystery
dunno if is just me but an album that needs to be heated to see the cover doesn't sound like a good idea, it probably would last you only a few days
