Yeah, it's kinda depressing that everything is basically running slowly and except for tweets, it's almost impossible to stay updated on WACK

right now the mameshiba no taigun members are live streaming themselves watching a concert of gang parade

i think it would have been better if they watched Mv's instead of live performances

tomorrow is the last day of these streams, carry loose and wagg are going to watch a bish concert

the weird thing is that even without much happening the groups have been getting more popular lately

their youtube views are up
their twitter followers are up
their spotify listeners are up
they are also getting pick to guest on tv shows and magazines, they may end stronger once things go back to normal :ohmygod:

Ayuni D announced her first single set for august which is called 来ないでワールドエンド

they are doing a contest, fans from her fanclub got send a link to a new song from her, they have to illegally share the song using the word PEDRO脱法宣伝大喜利 and the ones that do the best marketing for it are going to win an itunes gift card worth 1 million yen

on other news shuzo oshimi (Aku No Hana, A Trail Of Blood) did a drawing of her

uh... watanabe just started a pornhub account :doge:

he did say he was thinking of new ways to make money but i didn't know he was so desperate :sejeongcry:

seems he got fed up with fans attempts at marketing, also he has watched 6 videos since making the account :doge:

not gonna lie i'm low key scared of him having a porn account :JudgyDubu:

If I am making a wild guess, I would say that it's probably the quarantine that gives people more time to discover new music and stuff like that. I won't complain about that though.

I hope he doesn't have the bright idea of having an idol group like Ebisu Muscats...

i think this really took them by surprise, they released the teasers one day and it's delay next

also new uniforms and while i still like more the ones from daijoubu sunrise this ones are good too
btw is weird that the style is kinda yankee like since the contest which rocket start won was to pick their next concept
seems watanabe is going to pretend that never happened :doge:

do you have a wack blog?

i been searching for that show but i can't find it anywhere, on twitter i saw that chitti was also featured she was saying that bish are still getting together to practice despite all this

instead of another crowdfund project wack are doing a contest on line this time
fans can upload proposals for stickers/emojis that are going to be sold in the line store, winner/s are going to receive a 100,000 yen prize

members are also allowed to compete, is worth checking their accounts since almost all of them are on it

i forgot that banana maho was a thing :doge:

they are using the #WACK金策LiNEスタンプ大作戦 hashtag, lots of fan art here

these ones are nice

also cursed pictures :doge:

iirc the deal was that watanabe lend money to pour lui to start her label in exchange of a stake on it

he also did something similar with kika's bar, watanabe seems fine with supporting ex members ventures since he also gets to diversify his investments, so i think this is a win win for both

I think Mameshiba's new uniforms are going to be the ones they wear to perform and go on TV shows in. They'll probably still do the Bikini concept, but it's not practical when doing live performances. The new ones are kind of in between the original and Yankee versions. They're a bit too black imo, but at least they get to show their member colors. Mameshiba are such a colorful group and I would have liked to see them display that more.

Watanabe is really the ultimate promoter. Even if things go badly between him and his talent, he's happy to invest in whatever they're doing. I guess he takes advantage of whatever opportunities come his way. It's probably what's got him to where he is today.

Glad that they're turning things around and doing a contest for fans instead of asking for more money. Like you said in another post, WACK's raised more than enough, so now they can do something nice for the fans who've supported them.

My blog focuses on Japanese Idols in general and isn't particularly WACK focused. I just wanted a place to back up what I was posting on OneHallyu and now Hallyu+. I do post some Non-Idol stuff from time to time, but it's still related to Japan. I really only get to update it once a week or once every other week, but I'm still in the process of backing up old posts, so some months are more active than others. I am planning a 2nd Anniversary post which will focus on all the Photocards I've collected over the years, but I haven't begun to organize my collection or decide how to do it yet.

While I'm on that subject, it's taken me longer than I thought to translate the Q&A's from Mameshiba's variety show. I'm almost finished the second episode, so it shouldn't be too much longer.
