Is this trailer spoilers for who made it to korea to train? This unit performance doesn't look like it was or could be done during the 1 week eval in Japan.

I don't think this spoils which girls made it to Korea. I think this is the last test JYP has for the contestants other than dance, vocal, and star power rounds. After all the individual rounds, I would think JYP wants to see how they work in a group and how the girls improve themselves after hearing the previous critiques. This will probably also be the last chance for the girls to get pendants they have yet received.

I think it's enough time for the girls to complete everything in a 4 nights & 5 days. Based on their clothes, vocal and dance were filmed the same day. Star Power was probably filmed the same day too.

I guess that makes sense, that's probably the last showcase to see if the girls can improve and get those cube things.

So we probably have only 4 more episodes until season 2 and the Korean training camp. Just over halfway done with season 1 and I think mostly we can guess who make sit and who doesn't. A bit sad some girls will never get a chance to showcase themselves to the public, but such is life.

Was nice being able to finally see Oe Riku. Cute kid, did a good job singing. Wish they showed her dance performance because she ranked high and I'm very curious.

Rima did a good job. She is clearly going to be the main rapper of the group unless something awful happens during the Korean training. Not quite sure I agree with what JYP said about her. He very often sees weird flaws that aren't really flaws just him trying to force the girls to be artists when they are barely even fully formed their own personalities. Some young people can do it, but trying to force every one to is ignoring the particularities of each individual.

The little we saw of Maya she seemed shaky and needs more work, but had some sense of rhythm.

Rio seemed stable enough, with her dance skills and her vocals being decent I am very curious how she does in the group performances that look to be next episode. She looked very pretty in the preview.

Ayaka at this point is just a visual. We'll see how she does next episode. Very raw, but if she can be ok dancing and singing in the group performances I think she has good enough visuals to make the next phase and the group.

We saw very little of Mayuka and Ririka but they sounded super raw. My guess is they never had proper training. It we'll be interesting how they fare next episode. My guess is Ririka has a chance because of her dancing and charms but considering she got basically no screen time Mayuka is probably didn't make it to Korea.

I think Nina did a good job, specially after she had her confidence tanked during the dance evaluation. Still, she performed better in the audition in my opinion. I think the song choice really didn't let her showcase her full vocal talent. She has charm and I think she can perform well enough. I think she has the most potential as a vocalist and could be a main vocal. She is already a favorite with international fans for obvious reasons. I think she has a big chance to make it all the way, it really only depends on her.

Yuna started of well, but man did her confidence tank after the rap. Not quite sure why. She wasn't perfect but was doing well, then you can just hear her deflate as she can't keep her notes anymore. Poor girl must be very stressed being alone.

I think Mako did well. Was very stable and conveyed emotion while singing, but I still think Miihi's performance was better. It doesn't really matter since they both are for sure making it, probably all the way to debut too, but it's just interesting seeing what JYP prioritizes in his ranking. I think Miihi has the higher ceiling and had better singing moments, but Mako was overall more balanced. I would have ranked Miihi first of the girls we heard sing.

I wish we could have heard Suzu because of how high she ranked. Akari is also another girl I wish we could have seen. She seems very nervous and down this past few episodes, probably because of her time in the hospital and I am curious how she did.

People are guessing who doesn't make it by screen time and ranks so far. I think it is probably accurate. Some girls had nearly 0 screen time and haven't ranked really high. I would be very surprised if they made it to Korea unless they bring everyone, which I doubt they will. Some girls are also active on social media, and even though that isn't definitive proof you can extrapolate a little bit out of that.

Next few episodes are probably my favorite parts of these kinds of shows. Group performances are always fun and a great memory for the girls.

JYPE said because fans asked for it a lot they would release the stuff on youtube. Very interesting development for the show. I wonder how and if this affects everything.

Right now I think we have pretty well established who are the favorites and who are at the bottom of the totem pole. I can't see either Plunkett Mei or Sato Ana making it. Erina, Kako, Mayuka, Ayane, Moeno, Kyoka, Rei, Funa and Hina also probably aren't making it. We'll see if they get any spotlight next few episodes but time is running out.

I agree with most of your list, but think Plunkett Mei and Ito Rei have a good possibility. If they were to take the top 16 to Korea then both of them would be in so I think it is still to early to cross really anyone out except for I think the bottom 5 as the bottom 5 are WAY behind on the rankings. With Erina and Ana tied for last or second to last in each category. The one I think that won't make it that isn't on your list is Oguri Kako. She's the oldest girl in the contest and hasn't gotten any pendent inserts and no screen time either. She is currently ranked 22 overall.

I think I like Mei she’s really cute I really ish she had more screen time than just her giving reactions

Since this was filmed most likley in October/November as they said 2 months had passed after the end of the auditions and the auditions ended in August. This was all decided way back in November at the very latest. So they know 100% who has passed already and all those girls are in Korea now. BUT they need to keep us in suspense otherwise why have a show at all
