So the AKB48 Team SH first elections happened yesterday and surprisingly Liu Nian ranked #2 while Zeng Sichun ranked #1, I think everyone expected Liu Nian to win since she's the most known (she's like one of the only ones that I know) she received around 30,000 votes while Sichun received around 30,900 votes so the difference isn't so big but yeah... kinda feeling sad for Liu Nian

The difference between top 2 having 30k votes while #3 is at 12k and #4 at 10k then everyone else under 10k votes

MNL48 finally got a MV with a decent budget. No question on the vocals being good and their uniforms in this comeback are the best yet, loved Gabby and Abby as WCenter, I didn't think Abby could pull off such a concept but she was stunning. I pray this single does well enough to keep MNL from disbanding next year.

No, it's about time for someone else to center a single. I like Nian but its tiring to keep the group cemented around her when there are others who are as charming (This worked for Keyaki because Tecchi was the embodiment of their sound but in a generic pop cover group, there isn't any purpose for one girl to be "it" time and time again).

the numbers were so staggering... it's clear to see that Nian (and Sichun now) is hard carrying the group and I think the fact that they continue to push Nian as the forever center and face is a major reason. Nian probably would've won if her fans hadn't been hell bent on making her apart of the top 15 on Produce Camp, it was wasted funds imo.

Personally, the other girls were able to get attention only because they appeared on Produce 101 and Youth With You and that's just... sad. Same thing happened with SNH's JiaEn who was invisible until she shined on the Produce stage but at least her fans saved their money for the elections, knowing that she wouldn't make it to the debut lineup and she finally ranked after 4 years with over 300k votes.

I don't know what management will do for the 15th anniversary stage on December 8th now that all the main senbatsu is unavailable , we might get a full online stage. Also next week AKB48 is suppose to appear on FNS... I wonder what management will decide for FNS , either cancel the appearance totally or just use a whole new senbatsu for it.
