I don't like that they're pushing an elementary school student as the center, it can't be good for her. A 12 year old KKS back dancer is one thing, putting them at center with the added attention and pressure is completely different.

I guess they are trying to find their new Jurina? I didn't know that she's 12 when I first saw her (actually she's apparently turning 13 in a few hours haha happy birthday Mirei!). She seems a lot more mature than her age and performs well. I hope she can handle all of this...

Great news for AKB! They are getting a new regular variety show.
This seems like it will be an AKBINGO!-style show (hopefully it is)
They re-use AKBINGO!'s old account for it.

The name is "Sayonara Mouri-san", starting on April 7th!

AKB's Kuranoo Narumi got a lead role in a movie, congrats! The movie is called "Ichiban Aitai Hito" and will be released this year. She will play the role of Kaede, a girl who has a disease. Here is the trailer of the movie:

Yuki Kashiwagi and WACK unveiled their join group "SPY", they are going to debut on June 1st with their single "Anata o neraiuchi ♡", the 2nd song on the single is going to be a cover of AKB48's "Oogoe Diamond"

Yuki Kashgiwagi is 10 years older than the other members yet fits perfectly with the rest! i think someone that just heard of them for the first time would never be able to tell

Yuki is both the leader and center so the group is probably going to exist as long as she wants to specially since both staff and members of WACK are thrilled they get be in the same group as her

the only potential issue is that the 2 members of BiSH are graduating in 2023

something a little offtopic, WACK is currently holding their annual audition camp, one of the trainees is Kamijima Kaede who is an ex member of HKT48, right now she is the top ranked trainee in the camp and is most likely going to join WACK



the ongoing collab between WACK and YK happened at the request of Yasushi Akimoto, seeing how SPY is a join group between both companies, i wonder if we are going to start seeing active members of the 48 groups also joining WACK?

Cocona held her graduation concert

Aayan kept her promise and returned for Datte Datte Datte. I don't think anyone except Cocona thought it would be so soon.

Cocona's close 5th gen friend Mirai also returned for the concert

Cocona's last performance will be in early April.

AKB performed their 59th single for the first time on CDTV, the title is "Moto Kare Desu"
