That actually worked. Thank you.
edit: I'm actually surprised by the results with Yuna being so far down the list. I would have thought she would have been much higher.
There's the stereotype of Knets being really (over)focused on looks and at least on the larger of the 2 dcinside forums that's the case. So many posts are strictly about physical beauty. Their impression of Yuna is somewhat attributed to her inconsistency during performances but really the main reason appears to be they don't like her height and body proportions.
I don't think the target market Japan has quite the same ideals. There seem to be more shorter cute idols/celebrities? Maybe my read is off but that's just the impression I get.

At 14, she could do the full 7-year tenure at JYP, and still be 21 when/if she decides to pursue a solo career. Even for most kpop idols, a career as part of a group is still a stepping stone for something else - acting, variety, solo career, etc. Not many can make the group itself a long-term career (though I fully expect Twice to sign on past 7 years ). As for Somi 2.0, I don't see the same impatience in her to debut, which makes sense since Nina hasn't had to endure the long years as a trainee. Besides, her talents are still raw, so the crucible that is a kpop group is not a bad place for her to mold herself, plus JYPE's track record with groups is a whole lot better than with their soloists / duos. All in all, even if Nizi was a means to an end for her, I don't think she will find a better means to that end - Nizi's final group will be the first of its kind in Japan. The only thing I question and Divine mentioned Somi 2.0 is I wonder how interested is Nina in actually being in a girl group as opposed to it being a stepping stone for a solo career as quick as possible. Her vocal strengths/style seems to point more towards a soloist or small vocal team. I actually wonder if she would be better off (for her career) to join lily m or haewon to do a 15& type project that launched baek yerin & Jamie parks careers. Is she interested in composing her own material she did a little for her star potential presentation. If she somehow doesn’t end up on debut team, using public awareness to springboard to a new project like Somi did with Sixteen -> Pd101 would work well too I think.
I'm kinda looking forward to seeing them participating in variety programs (not the dodgy ones) in Japan, something I've always hope Twice would do. It would be nice to see something other than Knowing Brothers or Runningman for a change.
Sums up JYP idols to a T.Nizi girls give me more of a feeling were hey that girl could be my neighbor or the girl I just saw at the fast food place.
I'm happy that JYPE has gone with the low-key approach. I much prefer the low-narration NHK-type documentaries than the overly-dramatized, overly-narrated stuff that comes out of the US (and sometimes the UK).

When I meant Somi 2.0 is Nina possibly not making the group on the show like Somi and eventually leaving the company and a lot of people dragging JYPE for losing a gem. I can't really speak for her possibly having a solo career like Somi. The only thing I question and Divine mentioned Somi 2.0 is I wonder how interested is Nina in actually being in a girl group as opposed to it being a stepping stone for a solo career as quick as possible.

Yuna though is half Korean her visuals and poor performances are most likely why she's last.

StanAgree but thought her being a long time JYP trainee and as well being a former child model would have boosted her up higher to around 6th or so on average which is why I'm surprised. But yes Korea is very heavy about looks and not just looks but a "certain" look. So except for her I kind of knew what the ranks would be.There's the stereotype of Knets being really (over)focused on looks and at least on the larger of the 2 dcinside forums that's the case. StanBTW. So watched the first episode of produce camp. MUCH more pleased with this than Youth with You. They have some really good tallent there in both the singing and dancing. While the singing is still post processed it isn't that heavily or obviously done. I don't think it is studio recorded like some of the Youth with You stuff either. The girls though have been through the training processes for years obviously though and and they don't have many what you would call raw talents. I'll be watching this show.Just curious, is anyone following Youth with You 2 or Produce Camp the Chinese survival programs? The contrast is so different between them and Nizi Project. There's crazy production value on the Chinese shows. On produce camp, the contestants are staying in some lakeside Disney looking village. Also most of the Nizi girls are going to be done with a 7 year contract, retired and still be younger than the contestants of the other two shows.

StanIn fact in the song "Red Lotus" in episode 2 of produce camp is a briliant example of why someone like Nina is a must for the group. She is the only one that could possibly pull off something like that. That kind of singing is very popular in Japan and even though i don't think that will be Nizi's main thing doing a song something like that will bring in an audience to the group no other female kpop group has ever done. (note) I felt sorry for the girls that were competing against them. I've had personal experience in music competition with a hollow victory and it really really sucks.Just curious, is anyone following Youth with You 2 or Produce Camp the Chinese survival programs?

Heh heh that's the opening song for a really popular opening anime Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer). That's why people were hyped too.

LOL. I guess Momoka's pointing to her nametag to remind everyone that she's still there at JYPE.

I really hope she is still around and got past whatever struggles she had adjusting to being a trainee but ... the photo says it was taken in March. It’s still not necessarily a post missing group promo appearance.

GuestYall maybe she gets sick ? Maybe she gets 13 place twice who knows lets leave the kid alone i knew its weird coming from me how doubted her and said her bts was edited because the attitude issue was so big but lets just wait & see . I don't think it's because she's not used to the trainee system at all in japan there is a trainee system called the " kenkyuusei or kenshuusei / research student / " system & even girls from major companys without that system have to take lots of lessons to debut & she seems like a huge kpop fan so she knows what shes getting herself into .
