AKB48 IxR unit did a live concert online some time ago! They look cute and I think these 5 really have the "idol" aura, if they get more opportunities like being on magazines, TV shows, and this kind of things, they could get popular. They perform well, although I think some of them do better with the cute songs or idol songs than with the mature songs (the part in this video where Maho did a mature song was a little awkward haha)

The 7th generation of NMB was introduced today:

I think they look good overall, I'm waiting to see them better to judge but from this photo, the ones who got my attention are Momoka, Fuuwa, Aika, Wakana, Yuna, Misaki... Many of them lol. actually I'm interested to see more from all of them. it seems like NMB are good at finding cute girls

i can see the magazine line already yuna ,miyu ,anju and momoka in a year or 2 because she's still young and maybe aika and fuwa too unless nmb choose to put them in something else other than gravure then all of these girls have possiblity except maybe aika she has the type of cute face that fans like but mngmnt dont pay much attention to until later years reminds of ske's inoue ruka. I'm worried though that stupid ppl will shit talk them and compare the girls to the last 2 gen where many extremly pretty girls stood out this gen is cute and pretty but you dont whos gonna be popular for sure my magazine prediction was just my own opinion i dont know what wotas like but tbh yeah yeah no one stands out they are all beautiful but there is no ayacocona or sunaoren the " woah shes so freaking pretty" kinda girl shes for sure getting in senbatsu immediatly or pushed somehow thats why i'm worried for them.

*side note: i rarely see photoshoots from namba in just regular fashion magazines or them doing a gravure that isnt NSFW i'm not complaing good for them do your thing its good to have a weapon/thing your famous for in the idol industry but that limits the promotion of other girls who are too young for this or not comfertable with it but i've seen some of mikana's latest photoshoot from famous gravure magazines and it was just a regular shoot nothing too risque so there is a possibilty thats why i said unless they put them in something else other than gravure i actually meant unless they choose to put them in a regular gravure not the regular bikini or NSFW gravure that nmb mostly does they also do fashion magazines and other magazines as well but its mostly members who are exclusive /regular models or the popular 4 or 5 girls of senbatsu

I just watched all the introduction videos of NMB 7th gen and I think this gen seems very good! I can confirm that I'm interested with Momoka, Fuuwa, Aika and Yuna. I'm also interested that Misaki can speak english! and after seeing in video, I think Miyu looks good too, and Anju as well. Somehow Anju reminds me of Yuuka from Keyaki, her voice and way of speaking sounds alike to Yuuka and even something about her face reminds me of Yuuka lol

So I think this gen is interesting and the girls are cute! I feel like the one who might be pushed in senbatsu could be Momoka or Fuuwa or Yuna? They are cute and refreshing. But I guess we might also get surprised depending on who gets popular with photoshoots and all so let's see.

But yes overall I find this new gen really nice

I can see Yuna being popular, her introduction video was very cute.

About the photoshoots:
NMB has historically never had a fashion based image. It was always had the funny, talented and sexy image with members like Sayanee, Milky and Miru. They still stand out in this way with Nagisa for comedy and Rei/Sumire/Miru/Uuka/Shinshin and a lot of other members for swimsuit gravure. If anything it has actually improved a bit in recent years mainly thanks to Saeppi and Akarin. A problem is some members who could've been on fashion magazines like Yuuri, Uemura Azusa and some younger girls have graduated. So now it's mostly Aayan, Cocona and a bit of Mikana.
