Pandora is my favorite song right now. I can't get enough! This site has some great pics from the concert where they shot the perf for the MV.
While I'm on the subject of Ebichu, I have to say that Hinata has become quite the bias wrecker. Ayaka has always been my Oshi, but after Hinata cut her hair, my eyes keep wandering over to her. I think part of it is because Ayaka used to be the member with the shortest hair, but now Hinata has taken that spot, so I instinctively think she's Ayaka, lol. The other part is that the change has been so startling. Hinata with short hair is like a revelation. It suits her so well that I wish she had done it sooner.

Haruna's is the best with the chicken wings
Idk if I have a favourite member in any of the SDP groups, but if I do she's my favourite from Ebichu

Tokimeki's 2nd single "Love Shape Up" did really well on Oricon. It placed #2 for the first week with sales of 27, 000. It's their highest ranking since debuting on Avex (Victory Story peaked at #3).
Here's their reactions after finding out they ranked #2.
Currently, Love Shape Up has sold 36, 649 copies. I'm glad they're improving!
◎Billboard JAPAN Top Singles Sales
(2019年10月7日~2019年10月13日までの集計)
1位『Big Shot!!』ジャニーズWEST(171,051枚)
2位『恋のシェイプアップ▼』ときめき▼宣伝部(36,649枚)
3位『旅のつづき』竹内まりや(24,297枚)
4位『断捨離彼氏』ZOC(22,088枚)
5位『Phantom Joke』UNISON SQUARE GARDEN(20,497枚)
A little more detail about the song. According to the press release on Avex's site, Love Shape Up tells the story of a girl who lacks confidence and is cowardly in love. She starts training and tries to be reborn into her ideal self. There's obviously an exercise theme in the MV, but this adds a little more substance to it.
They're also asking for fans to post videos of themselves performing the choreo from the MV on various platforms like twitter, Instagram, tiktok, and youtube. Winners will be chosen and rewarded with "luxurious prizes". I guess that's why Tokyo Girls Style posted their own cover of the choreo, to help get the word out about the contest.
That's some great fan art and the chicken wings are perfect! Haruna's member color is Tebasaki Midori. Tebasaki means chicken wings, which I believe she has a fondness for, lol.

Ebichu's Ayaka Yasumoto is taking a break from activities.
She's not feeling well neither mentally or physically
Hopefully she gets a good rest and feels better
Chicken Wing green? I'd be a bit worried if I was served green chicken

I was doing an unrelated Ebichu search and just saw the news about Ayaka. I was worried she was going to be graduating, so I'm somewhat relieved that she's only suspending activities. That doesn't mean I'm happy she's in poor health. Mirei had similar issues around this time last year. I guess it's Ayaka's turn. I hope the time off gives her a chance to heal and she comes back next year revitalized.
When I think about it, Momoclo have never had any serious health problems whereas Ebichu have a history with this sort of thing. It's unfortunate

So Stardust held some poll asking which songs people would most like to see Momoclo perform (if I understood things correctly)
Probably the most notable inclusion is the 6th entry, Saikyo Pare Parade which is a song from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
It's one of the songs Momoclo covered and performed in their early years
(first is Orange Note)

Today there's going to be both Tacoyaki Rainbow (Motto Motto Hanasou Yo -Digital Native Generation- release) and Momoclo (men's festival concert) events in Osaka. Must be sweet for Stardust fans in Kansai, I'm assuming the events are at different times.
Now for a mixed bag of things I wanted to post here:
The first trailer for the AYAKA NATION 2019 BR/DVD was revealed:
Here's hoping they put the whole BGB performance on youtube
And on the topic of youtube videos, I came across a couple of videos of Hokkaido Asahikawa Nagamine High School brass band performing Rodou Sanka and Saraba.
Saraba seemed to works better than Rodou Sanka as a brass band version imo, with that said there are some parts that work great and it's fun to see the girl with the huge brass instrument (looks like a tuba?) dancing and enjoying herself. As for Saraba it works very well and it's fun to see them dancing/moving while playing the instruments.
There are also other videos of the band performing songs from Keyakizaka, Da Pump and other artists.
Finally a quick SNS update while I'm at it
The last one is from Reni's IG story apparently

Team SHACHI held a concert to celebrate their first anniversary since the rebranding!
Here's a short video from the Rose Fighters performance...
It looks a bit dangerous
They will also be going on a tour next year, with 14 stops at 10 different venues
----
Some more clips from Momoclo vs Ebichu
Momoclo being bad seniors
This clip is of Reni playing a game where the goal is to get as close to 10 seconds as possible, but if you get over 10 seconds the blue ball is dropped on your head
Musical chair finals, Hinata vs Shiori!
---------------------------------
Reni updated her IG with some photos from the AE men's festival concert at Osaka Castle Hall
Finally A-rin updated her blog with photos of her cosplay (ft. Shiori) from last weekend's AE concert
She dressed up as cup noodles
(Shiori was Annabelle)

I don't have much to add. I'll have some more info about "Momo to Iku" in a day or so.
They just started promoting Reni's comedy Blu-ray.
I think these were missed earlier in the month, but I can't be sure.
I'm also seeing what look like new costumes, but I can't find a source. They seem to be variations on old ones.

Suzuki announced a safety campaign with Momoclo.
As part of that there's this 4K 360-degree video
I don't have a VR headset or anything like that but it's still watchable on PC by dragging in the video area. Main issue for me is my computer/internet can't really handle the load.
The photos are from the otoko matsuri concert in Osaka!
It's from Reni's IG, I thought I linked the post above but seems like I just linked her IG page
Momoku to Iku seems fun. It's obviously never going to happen but I wish they'd sub it!
Well, the Japanese version of The Bucket List that Momoclo are in might possibly get subbed as part of an international release in the future? That would be nice

I found that Suzuki video too, but missed the part about it utilizing a 360 camera and never bothered to watch it. They've done allot of these car endorsements, so I was like "another one? Pass!"
I saw that first pic on Reni's IG, but never bothered to look at the rest of the set. The coats are almost completely covering the pants, so I didn't notice the similarity. I still got the scoop in the end
For a show like MomoIku, once you get to know the format and rules, it's easier to follow. You'll miss out on some things in the conversations, but you can still figure out what's going on for the most part. Yeah, I wish they would upload more official videos of programs so I-Fans would be encouraged to sub them. I understand they can't do that for longer series, but they should be able to make exceptions for special one time programs.

Tacoyaki announced their first fan tour
2 days, 1 night in Kiroro Resort in Hokkaido on the 11th and 12th of January
It's an interesting choice for a Kansai-based group to go all the way to Hokkaido which is perhaps the most difficult place to hold a concert in Japan, but the concerts will probably be very special! I wonder if they'll be held indoors or outdoors?
But maybe I should check out momoiku despite not understanding the language since they seem to be doing a lot of stuff and so the dialogue isn't as important!

It's probably next to impossible, especially when it's made by a Japanese TV company. They don't have any interest in the show being available for free online, and probably just as little in having an official release on streaming services (unless it's a big enough show... like Terrace House).I found that Suzuki video too, but missed the part about it utilizing a 360 camera and never bothered to watch it. I'm just about done with Momoiku. I wasn't planning to be so thorough, but the more I watched it, the more I wanted to understand the subtleties of the show. Because of this, I'm going to make a full post about the episode on my blog instead of just a summary. Hopefully, this will make it worth the wait.
I did come across a news items regarding the show. There's a bit a of controversy among fans. Basically, in connection with Momoiku, the TV station that broadcasts the show is selling some items in its online shop. Of particular interest is a Momoclo stamp set that costs 88,000 yen (about $807.00). There's a cheaper set for 22,000 yen ($201.00) and a 3 piece souvenir set from Shiori, Honoka, and Ai's trip to Kanagawa for 2376 yen ($21.00). I'm guess more items will be added as time goes on. The link to the expensive item is below.
I don't know if it's clickbait or something of genuine concern in the fandom. According to the article, a certain number of fans believe the real purpose of Momoiku is creating a mail order program. The issue isn't just the price, but also the fact that the stamp set is personalized by Shiori. It uses her member color and she writes a message on the certificate. I believe she also designed the stamp which Honoka is holding a sample of in the above pic. There's probably more to it, but that's all I have time to look into at the moment. The article mentions how Stardust groups don't do handshake events, so items like these can make fans feel more connected. However, some fans are disappointed that Momoclo are connected to something like this and the image of the group will be different from now on. I still don't know if this causing a stir or not, so I'll keep my eyes open.

BOLT announced their first limited single, "Koko Kara"!
The release event will be Hirase Misato's last.
It will contain 3 new songs as well as two songs that have only been released digitally before.
I'm looking forward to the update, please post a link here when it's done! The same also goes for the Halloween post.
The 800$ stamp set makes very little sense to me. It's way too expensive to be of interest to most fans and I'm assuming will be limited, so it's not like it's actually going to make any money either. Maybe there's a connection to the show that I'm missing, in which case it can sort of make sense as an exclusive item but I think it's mostly unnecessary. Momoclo's goods are usually very fairly priced but iirc I've seen some premium priced goods that came from special collaborations before too, although not as expensive as this (discounting stuff like Suzuki cars... but that's another matter).
Also about the bold part it's not like Stardust groups don't have handshake events. Tacoyaki Rainbow's latest single had release events which consisted of:
- mini live
- handshake/fansign/twoshot/group photo event
Afaik all SDP groups have handshake events except Momoclo, and they had it in the beginning of their career.
But Momoclo would be one of the idol groups that provide fans with the least direct access. They mostly compensate this with public appearances or letting in smaller groups of fans to some recordings or other events. There's no 1-on-1 interaction with members though.
As for signatures they sign stuff for AE members at random, and sometimes tickets for events.
