Momoclo management is reconsidering their future plans to avoid covid-19 spread. They want to hold small scale concerts in every prefecture with attendance limited to local residents to prevent excessive travel. Several appearances have also been postponed or cancelled.

It seems like there's been some problems finding the last songs for Momoclo's 6th album so it has been postponed until next spring, but the already recorded songs will be released this year:

They also announced that Momoclo will have a collaboration with the Nintendo Switch game Momotaro Dentetsu

With twitter images not working on H+ anymore I can't find good photos of Shachi's new artist photo. All I'm getting is this
large_TEAM_SHACHI_%E6%B5%85%E9%87%8EEP_A%E5%86%99_S.jpg

:iwillfightyou:

Ok that's not really true because the photo on the official site works but it will change whenever they change artist photo so it's going to be misleading sooner than later
member.jpg

That's the best photo of Nao I've ever seen.

I suppose I can post the tweets

Individual photos

They will also release an EP soon with song remakes

The first 2 photos don't show up for me :palcry:
The chorus is really nice, I could do without the rap but maybe it will grow on me

I missed this too, I'll check them out

Oof, it's been too long since I posted :lurk2: The first two Ebichu pics still show up for me. Maybe it's an issue on your end? I'll see if I can repost them later.

I really like Shachi's new artist pics as well as their new regular uniforms. It was actually really hard to find a high quality pic without masks.

teamshachi7.jpg

They look like waitresses. Super cute! You can find more nice quality pics of Shachi here. You have to go to the bottom and click on the tabs to open each section.

I have some Stardust updates of my own which I'll post later today.

Updates! Momoclo's live stream on Sept. 19th, " The LIVE ~ Summer That Never Gives Up ~ in ABEMA" trended worldwide at #1 with over 90k tweets! I guess this replaced their annual summer concert because of covid.

Pics from the stream. There's something about the oversized buttons on the new costumes that I really like.

In somewhat older news, TokiSen's "Suki!" came in 1st place on the Korean weekly Tik Tok chart. I forget that it's an old song that was on their debut album in 2018. "Suki!" was even used for the MV at release, but I remember not thinking much of it back then. I really slept on it, lol.

On top of that, the live MV just hit 2M views! This song is a MONSTER!!! Social Media has been amazing for Stardust this past year!

In other TokiSen news, Suda Aki celebrated her YouTube channel reaching 10k subscribers! I've kept up with her channel, but last I remember her subs had slowed to around 7k so something must have caused a sudden surge in subscribers.

Just to break it up so it's not one long post, I'll put the last update here. Ayaka went Pink! At least for a little while. If I understood correctly, it's a hair restoring product to help her hair grow back stronger. It must fade with washing.

She's currently blond.

Wb!

Shachi's new outfits look great, I did not expect them to go back to using their member colors so prominently.
I just skimmed through that and thought Suki! was #1 in Japan but it actually hit #1 in Korea? :ohmygod: The song has been huge for them, I hope it continues!

Ayaka seems to have taken this chance to test a lot of hair colors. Actually I don't know if that last photo is blonde or very pale green :pandasantathink:

Now for a bit of news!

Kanako's first solo concert has been announced! It's a 2 day concert on October 16 & 17 at Saitama Super Arena (5k max attendance/day)

ukka finished their audition and got two new members: Rina and Ruri

JA Namie announced their first album to be released next year!

And I found this short write-up about BOLT's new album

Momoclo participated on a song in Kinashi Noritake's album.

The full song title is a mouthful:
Saikou na Mainichi ni Surutame ni Jibun kara ATTACK shite Kotoba ni Kiwotuke MOOD yoku susumeru you Shikake wa hayame Subete Omoshirogari Kotae wa oioi Yattekurukuruku-ru Z!! Tsumari, Kotae Sagashi no Mainichi wo! feat. Momoiro Clover Z & NoriKuro

The Meijiza stage play Momoclo were supposed to perform on starring Shiori was cancelled so Momoclo are currently making up for it by holding 5 small-scale concerts in Tokyo. Kawakami has tweeted some vaccine statistics about the fans who attended and the second dose vaccination rate seems high (between 78% and 92%). The Tokyo performances are the start of Momoclo's "origin" tour which will consist of small-scale concert in various prefectures limited to residents of that prefecture.

Now for some Ebichu news.

Ebichu were dressed up as Jiangshi for their TIF performance

Hinata and Riko were missing from the performance. Riko is performing in a stage play and Hinata is taking a break to recover mentally and physically.

Ayaka will also release her first photo book

I found more footage from Momoclo's special concert promoting Shinagawa Prince Hotel's "Surf & Dolphin" attraction back in May. Perf 1 and perf 2. Best part is when they ride the merry-go-round while singing "Mirai Bowl" in the first vid.

Wb!

Kanako's holding a solo concert?! Wow, I never thought it would happen :shablob: I wonder what she'd going to perform. I imagine there will be allot of covers.

It looks like Ayaka threw some pink in her hair for the TIF performance, so she tricked me into thinking I was only going to see it in that one photo.

Finally, JA Namie are getting an album! Looking forward to some MVs from them too.

I don't know all the details yet, but Ebichu are involved in an online interactive mystery game. Each member plays a character which appears in the pre-recorded segments in the game. They've released two videos so far teasing it. Ayaka is the narrator. The second video is more interesting since you get to see some of the game clips that they shot. Looks like the mystery revolves around a glass slipper getting stolen.

Forgot to post this. Aki's reactions throughout the video are great, especially the moment when she's completely shook at 3:12. Well worth a watch.

OiSa hit 3 million views, congrats and deserved!

Lately I've also watched the Iginari Tohoku San live digest videos. Can recommend.

Another Stardust success story! So happy for them!!! They've been around a long time so I'm glad they're connecting with fans.

I'll check out those Iginari vids. I haven't been keeping up with them lately.

I found a fan upload of Ebichu's performance at TIF's Smile Garden. They performed "Otona wa Wakatte Kurenai" and "Hot Up!!!". You can watch it here. Ayaka's pink hair went perfectly with their costumes. She looks so happy to be performing again. Hinata wasn't there because she currently taking a 3 month break and Riko was absent because of her health. If I remember correctly, it's covid related. On top of that, Kaho was sitting in a chair during the performance. She must have an injury which I didn't know about, but it's nice that she was still able to participate.

They also performed Karikeiyaku no Cinderella and Headphone Riot. The new members were almost invisible in Otona and Hot Up because they're hard to sing but they're given much more spotlight in Cinderella and Headphone Riot.

On the TIF topic, Batten Girls also performed. And Tokisen performed two times.

I was just thinking while watching the TIF videos that Aki slotted into her group very seamlessly compared to all the other new members. Maybe it's because she was in an idol group before Tokisen, but she's much less awkward and you can't tell she's a new member by watching their performances.

Yeah, Otona and Hot Up are staples of their setlist and pretty complicated. They fit the new members in where they could, but it's understandable to let the veterans handle most of the singing duties.

I found some more videos including one for Batten Girls, but haven't seen TokiSen's perfs yet, so thanks for the links!

Agree 100%. While her previous experience no doubt helped, some people are just born to be Idols and Aki is one of them. She's a natural and hit the ground running as soon as she joined.

You'd never now this was Aiai. She's practically unrecognizable. Aside from the change in hair color, I think she still had a little growing to do after graduating from Ebichu.
I think she looks similar when you look closer but her changed style and growing a bit older makes a big difference
